Lesk What You Mean To Me by Baby Bad I never came here looking for a single soul. But now that I found you I want you to know
I had forgotten how to smile, how to laugh, how to be me I had forgotten the sweet pleasure of a heart filled with glee.
I was intoxicated with life... work and family Never stopping for fun... it just wasn't there you see.
Since I have found you... it's been a complete turn around I smile and laugh again... not much gets me down.
I get excited when I see you on ICQ Wondering what it is today we will do...
Chatting, laughing and the games we play You make my every day.
It seems so silly on just a machine How someone can reach you... become your everything. What Would Life Be by Scott Wheeler, Sr What would life be with out friends like thee I'll tell you, like no longer being free. Imagine what life would be so sad and blue To go through life without that special you. And I know we live so far away Through the internet we are like castaways Never get to touch or hug you for this I only pray For some day I hope we can meet To hug and laugh and dance to the beat I know this would be a treat For now this is all I see Is my good friend here with me Just think what life would be Without friends like thee The Rose The rose is a beautiful flower, Although it never lives long. It shows it’s beauty, And has a great aroma . The pedals fall fast. Like the rain from the sky. Or a tear in the eye. It’s funny how some think That the rose is a beautiful thing. The rose never lasts more than a few days. But my feelings for you Are alive within me, every day. It seems every woman loves the rose, But I would rather have something that will last. The rose can’t be saved But feelings can, perhaps. The rose is placed in a vase, In hope it will live a while. When a woman receives a rose, Their face glows. But for me, I guess I am different, I would rather save the friendship, Than receive a rose. The rose will die, Where the friendship Stands a chance to survive. For My Friend by Carol Miller across the miles you touched my life, opened my eyes, and filled my empty heart-
strangers, yet friends, our spirits reach out, always touching, never apart- -
you in the east, me in the west, never together, never apart- -
At Random by Cheeky It was at random that we met, A chance that not many get. When I heard the "Uh Oh", How was I to know! That you would turn out to be my special friend, Someone who could be there, Until the end.
No matter how I feel or what I do, I know, in my heart, That I can count on you.
I've never seen you, Heard you, or touched you. Those kind of chances are very few.
To meet someone from far away, Never knowing if they're here to stay, Not knowing if what they say is true, Of what they're doing and telling you.
So far away, but yet so near, The "not knowing" is the fear. Is it truth, or is it lies? Will a heart grow, or will it die? Either way, the bonds of Friendship's strings are tied.
One's needs are met, Some with regret. Some with hope, Some with pain. But still, the answer is plain.
If we hadn't met, On that very day, Things would be different In every way.
The emptiness may be filled, A life may start to rebuild. A heart may be broken, Or made to mend; All because of that "Random Friend". | |
