Evening mist hides deepest sorrow.
She's obscured in eternity,
Beauty masked in waiting shadows.
She seeks the one who holds love's key.
On evenings that hold rare Blue Moons,
Cedar Spirits take human form.
Long ago on one special night,
in this forest true love was born.
A perfect tune of timeless love.
Two Spirits joined in harmony.
Beneath the Moon and crystal stars,
a maiden and a Spirit Tree.
He enchanted her with music.
Emotions flowed in soft warm tones.
A seranade on Cedar flute.
He gave his heart to her alone.
Blue eyes shine with the Moon's secrets.
Sparkling starlight smiles on dark hair.
This woodland reflects her beauty .
Her lavendar scent fills the air.
Gold eyes shine with the Moon's secrets.
Slender arms become feathered wings.
Light changes her pure melody.
Sharp cries replace words that she sings.
Black wings glide to find sturdy arms.
Her shrill voice , is no longer clear.
Strong branches reach just to hold her.
Through-out time,true love perseveres.
The maiden's call greets each new day.
Her gentle beauty sings within.
As dawn awakens in the East,
behind Crow's eyes she waits for him.
Shadow Spirit of the forest,
on wings of darkness, taking flight.
Among wise ancient Cedar trees,
a maiden's song floats through the night.
