Thomas looked around the room and saw both ladies were sitting on the edge of their chairs waiting to here the rest of his saga. He pour more wine for all and slowly took a sip then he placed his glass on the table and continued his saga: So with his heart broken Bentley became a rogue but not over night it took many months before he became what he hated the most…he became like his father. The first woman to come into his life after Zeph was the wife of a very large wolf pack. You see Bentley had begun spending his nights at the tavern drinking a lot and that night a beautiful creature walked in. They started up a conversation and one thing lead to another and soon he and this woman became lovers. For many weeks they carried on their affair not once did he know that she was the wife of pack leader. He knew she was a wolf and both were very careful not to bite or scratch each other while they "played". He also knew she was pregnant, but she had told him her mate was killed right before she found out her condition and wanted Bentley to be her cubs father. Bentley loved the thought of being a father, but was unsure as to how to raise wolves. One night as he was waiting for his new love to come to the tavern a rather large older man walked in and asked if anyone had seen the lady that night. Bentley smiled and told the man that she was due in here in about now that they were very close friends. The large man's eyes narrowed and ran over and grab Bentley by the throat and lifted him off the floor and bellowed at him, "I AM HER MATE ..HER HUSBAND". Bentley's eyes grew wide for he did not know his lover was married yet alone the mate of the pack leader. Just as the wolf was transforming his lover walked in. The beautiful lady looked at her mate and husband and yelled out, " Let my friend go!". With that the wolf dropped Bentley to the floor. For the next hour or two Lady Silver Wolf explained to her husband how this kind gentleman Bentley had come to her aide and protected not only her but their unborn cubs and then she got on to him for nearly killing a friend of their pack. Lord White Wolf looked at Bentley and gave his word to him that no wolf would ever harm him or his family that he was now under their pack's protection. In return, Bentley told Lord White Wolf about his cousin Michael that longed to be one with the wolves. Michael looked a lot like Bentley but was no where near the gentleman that Bentley was, but as a favor Michael was taken into the pack. What Lord White Wolf did not know was that his mate had wanted Michael in the pack and Bentley persuaded Michael into joining without tell him all he knew about wolves…you see Bentley thought the only way to know what goes on into a pack would be to have someone he trusted …someone that was family in the pack. Things went well for weeks, and it was about that time that Bentley took on another lover. However, this lover was different, you see Justine was the wife of GrayWalker the leader of the Umbra Clan. Justine was the perfect woman for Bentley or at least he thought she was…you see Bentley or Duncan has always had a weakness for shall we say bad/evil ladies…and if they were beautiful that made them more tempting to him. His affair with Justine happened very quickly and very passionately…he bought a small out of the way farm house for them to meet in and have their affair…the whole time this was going on Bentley was using his trusted cousin to deliver messages to both Justine and Lady Silver Wolf. Unknown to Bentley, Michael was beginning to become disgusted with his cousin's behavior and more and more of the wolf began to take over Michael. One night while Bentley and Justine were away having their fun, a very close friend of Bentley's came into the tavern. You see Bentley had always surrounded himself with an odd assortment of "friends" so Arch DeGall who was a vampire hunter was just another one of his assortment. You see Arch had thought that Solar's ritual had cured Bentley of being a vampire and never knew his true nature. Also Bentley kept up the masquerade by becoming engaged to a lovely child of 17 named Remi…she was kindred as well but he hid that fact to everyone. Arch was friends with Remi, who by this time was pregnant by Bentley. Arch and Remi were talking at the tavern that night and Remi was telling Arch about Bentley being away so much lately on business. Michael was there at the tavern, and muttered some words not so kind about his cousin. Arch approached Michael and asked him to repeat what he had said about his best friend…Michael was drunk by that time and laughed at both Remi and Arch and told them both about what a rouge Bentley was and how he had at least 8 lovers. Remi looked in shocked for Bentley had been the only lover she had ever had and now was carring his child…she ran out of the tavern in tears. Arch grabbed the drunken Michael and threw him up against the wall calling him a lying bastard. Michael just laughed at the vampire hunter and told him all…about all the vampires in the area and about how Bentley had even used his friendship to keep his own clan safe from hunters. Arch did not believe him that Bentley, the one who saved his life once would be like that…he stormed out of the tavern in search of the truth. Michael called upon his wolf packed and told them how Arch had attacked him, but he left out telling them that he had cause the attack. The pack plotted and tricked Arch into a small farm house where they tore his body apart. Arch laid there dying when Bentley came into the house. Bentley could not believe what he saw...about eight wolves had attacked an unarmed mortal. Bentley hissed at the wolves and cut his wrist and gave his old friend his powerful daywalker blood, saving his friends life but at the cost of revealing himself and his clan to the vampire hunters. He carried the weaken Arch back to the tavern and nursed him back to health, but from that day on he never trusted a wolf. He knew sooner or later a showdown was coming with Michael and that pack�? Thomas looked at the women and smiled…care to hear about the great wolf
