Born in the high north, child of a Warlord and Priestess of Erin, Rayendir Sidhe was given the traditional training of the Sidhe. From Apprentice to Bard, from Bard to Priest, destined to become the Merlin eventually, who bound his parents and the rulers of many other nations to the alliance of The Red Dragon.

Yet things went different, as wars destroyed the alliance, and the Sidhe retreated to the misty island of Avalon.
The braking of The Red Dragon meant great changes; among which the return of the Shadowbreed, that had until then be hunted down for many era's.
The man who was supposed to become Merlin, the religious leader of the Sidhe, became High King of the new alliance, the alliance of The White Marten; young but dedicated and filled with hate against the former enemy, he lead the people of Erin to a new time.
And the alliance did well, expanded even beyond its earlier borders, spreading the pledge of allegiance from the warm southern lands all the way to the north.
Uther Defender they called their High King, known for his tactics that reestablished the power of Erin.
And Rayendir Sidhe's own clan, Daoine Sidhe, became the Royal Guard and managed to keep together the alliance for a long, long time, until the High King decided to step down.

The Sidhe asked him to become Merlin after all, and so it happened: Rayendir Sidhe became Merlin of the Sidhe, and saved the religious Order that had been dying out slowly through the years.
The White Marten eventually fell as well, when long after Rayendir Sidhe's leaving a new High King decided there was no longer need for an alliance of this kind.

But Daoine Sidhe survived. New Kings came and went, under the watching eye of their Founder: Rayendir Sidhe.
And the Merlin himself, he dedicated his life to his own family, Dé Cairn Aillem.
They had been banned and hunted down in the Empire's where they tried to build up their life before, feared for their power and experience. Yet the family stayed together and founded the Empire of Moíra, which these days is a great nation of wellfare and justice.

That is the life of Rayendir, as the Emperor of Moíra officially known as Uther Defender Rayendir Dé Cairn Aillem Sidhe of Avalon.
A simple man like any other, no terribly destructive powers of a deamon, no fangs like a vampire, no great magic tricks but the few he learned during his early days on Avalon.
Just a simple man, shaped by his many years of experience.
And he is old.
