A silver femme pawed up a hill, the blades of grass still carried the morning dew. The moisture kissed the pads of the wolfess and dampened her white paws. She stopped at the crest of the hill, looking forth with her deep blue pools for something she sought to find for so many years. Such an elegant wolven princess like her was sentenced to a life of a lone wolf at birth by the humans that tore her family that she didn't quite know apart. It was not fair that she had to live alone, but she had made it. She had hunted for herself and protected herself from other fellow predators. She was both strong and intelligent but longed for a family, a pack that would be by her side no matter what. Now, as she gazed out to the unknown pack territories, she wished that this pack would be the one she would fit into. She smiled as the wind brought her the scent of the wolves she wanted. She looked up into the clear blue sky. The day was still fresh and there was plenty of time to find the wolves that claimed this land theirs, but she did not want to take such a risk. If she were to stay were she was until nightfall, the pack was sure to find her and that was not necessary a good thing. If the pack found her trespassing in the territory, she would be in for a fight. She would take on the pack against her will but would not want to. She wanted to be happy and join the pack, not disrupt them and cause a war. She decided to give a call to them, just as her instincts told her to do. She looked around. No wolf in sight. The call was the only way to get their attention. And so, she titled her head up, still hesitating a bit, nervous and still trying to decide on how she would make her first impression, after all, first impressions are the most important thing if you want to make friends. Should she show dominance and not let the alpha intimidate her as much? Should she give whoever would meet her first the respect of the alpha from an omega? Or should she be herself and choose both paths-showing a bit of dominance but not being rude and still keep her dignity? This was always her chose when meeting others, but remembered something that disturbed her about this. Putting the though aside, she closed her eyes and howled, calling for the pack, giving away her location, and introducing herself.

Emerging from within the shadows, the large Alpha male stood, tender ears pricking forth as he picked up on the sound of a near but distant howl.

Weaving his way throughout the clouded darkness, delicate paws swept past the scorched earth, causing bits of broken dirt to scatter and crumble beneath their powerful wake, then pausing a moment as the howl grew in to be more clear, he knew he was getting closer.

Stopping completely atop a ledge nearby, swirling orbs of deep green shown brightly, watching from high above, as a lone wolf, as it seemed had brought itself about the territory, perhaps this wolf was a wanderer.. in need of a place to rest awhile, or even in search of a place to call home.

Not wasting a second, Riley leapt down from the ledge in which he stood, springing forth, off towards the direction that the unknown visitor had come from.

Breaking his pace from such a high speed as he neared the new wolf, he then halted back to a slower trot... which quickly grew to walking, his head and tail held high, showing his rank of Alpha male, before speaking, he nodded once to the female in a gesture of greeting.

"Hello, my name is Riley. Alpha male of the SilentShadow pack, I have watched you as you came, and I would like to know what has brought you to this territory?" he asked, sinking to his haunches before her, his tail curling about his side as his gaze remained locked upon her so. Awaiting her reply.

Her silver-white hues caught the sound of a creature coming towards her at an incredible speed. Realizing this, her head slowly moved to where the footsteps of it were coming from. As she did this, her eyes began to pinpoint the sound and what was making it. Familiar. It was a wolf. Her leathery nose twitched and the scent of the wolf matched the scent of the territory. This wolf had to be the alpha. She watched as the wolf made its way towards her. She sat down; tail wagging slowly behind her just above the grass as so her fur would not be as damp as her paws. Excited as she was, she was still a bit nervous but did nothing to show it. As the sound of running paws became louder, she caught the sight of the wolf that she sought to find. She studied him as he came closer but did not look him straight in the eyes. He seemed like a strong wolf, strong enough to be an alpha and lead the pack. She didn't want to displease him at first meeting. She knew that he was a strong wolf and had others behind him.

As he approached, she lowered her head, slender muzzle pointed to the ground in a sort of bow. She sat up straight showing respect and said, "Hello, Alpha Riley. My name is Faite. I am just a simple wolf searching for a home. Though I have infiltrated your land without your permission, I hope you will accept me into your pack. I promise I will be loyal to you and the pack" She relaxed, waiting for him to speak but also hesitating to say more.
