Personality ?/STRONG> Daichi is very courageous, and can be easily disappointed when he fails, but will always keeps going at it when he really wants to acomplish something. Besides his strong will, he isn’t easily angered, but has a tendency to be sarcastic with other wolves, and likes to play jokes when he is in one of his mischievous moods that pop in once in a while. Oh, and this pup is very stubborn. He is mostly very attentive to his parents, and makes sure he is polite to all the older wolves, along with the pups, but not so much, he is more ornery with them.

He doesn’t have a quick temper, and like his dad, is very hard to decipher his mood when he doesn’t want anyone to know how he is feeling, for whatever reason that might be. He is not intimidated easily, and does not like to back down when it comes down to a fight. Even verbal, he strives to win.

History ?Daichi’s first impressions of his parents were fairly good, and only got better when he got to know them. He has admiration for both of them, but wants to become most like his father, but who knows if that could ever change. As for his siblings, he doesn’t mind them at all. He likes to know he could have family to go back to when things could get hard, just besides his parents. Who could he keep some of his most trusted secrets with?

When it was the first time out of the den, Daichi had figured out water wasn’t something you could walk on, as he had come across Barefoot Stream. He had walked on like nothing was the matter, but then?sploosh! He had ended up soaking wet and a little mad and embarrassed it had happened, but no one had dragged it on.

Even though he had known of the raging war, he had planned on ignoring it. He had nothing to do with it, and let no one know he had interest. Daichi always wanted to know what was going on and try to diverse about it. Though, those thoughts were always drowned away with his puppy play. The proud son of Ashkii and Kasil had better things to do for a war that seemed so stupid to him.

---

The ground wasn’t cold anymore, as winter had past and spring was there. Daichi had found that it was so much easier working on the now warmer, not flooded ground. There were still some fall leaves here and there, but it was mostly all growing back. It gave him a boost of energy just thinking of all the things he could do. He could be self entertaining and play games by himself whenever he didn’t have his siblings to play with. Tail wagged behind the puppy, eyes wide and just waiting for another site to come to them. He loved seeing knew things, and this most certainly was. He had found what he called ‘the biggest tree he ever saw?

With the new found awe, Daichi circled the tree and put his two front paws up on it, tail wagging absently behind him now. He barked up it, and saw a rustle of squirrels who he had scared, and he couldn’t help but laugh at the cheeky creatures. Shaking his black head, he let himself fall back down and crunch of s stick under his light paw. He turned a bit sharply, and still not the master on his feet, had stumbled and fell to the ground. He was not hurt, and so laughs emitted form the young male’s maw. He got up and shook himself off form the dirt that had cluing to him and marched forward, chest puffed out and acting like the macho pup he thought he was.

Ears pricked forward and he forgot the macho act as he bounded forward, tiny paws letting him feel the breeze hitting across his face, his fur shifting on him as he changed directions. Diachi hopped into a puddle and scrambled back out and slowed down, panting. Where was everyone? He snorted and headed off the other way in a trot, heading bobbing about happily. He wanted something else to happen, and not just see that big old tree, or some stupid squirrel.

Something had caught his eye, and it was a rabbit. Eyes widened, never seeing one and so he raced out after it. It didn’t take long for him to be racing full speed, trying to catch it. But it had made his way into a whole after about fifteen minutes, leaving Daichi out there to growl and scratch at it, “I’ma get choo, ya hear meh!? I’ma get choo!?he barked into the hole.

He had gotten bored quickly and had laid down beside, staring into the dark little whole, letting his black fur get swallowed by the sunlite.

Personality -

Keiko is the most social wolf you can get. She revels in others company and hates being on her own. She is always in the thick of a conversation, always the first to speak her mind. She's a natural second-in-command, happy to follow orders, but charismatic enough to control others.

Like her father she has a temper, but unlike him she’s not very good at controlling it and can be extremely moody. She wears, so to speak, her heart on her sleeve, emotions open for all to see. She’s also a little impulsive and rash, which gets her into trouble. She loves exploring new places and meeting new wolves and so, as a pup, is usually in a state of perpetual excitement at the brand-new sights and scents all around her.

Keiko adores her parents, especially her mother, and thinks the world of them. She loves her siblings to and likes nothing better than to spend a day playing with them. She doesn’t’t, usually, break rules of her own accord, but is happy to follow others who are doing so.

History -

Her first impression of life was darkness. Darkness and then warmth and a comforting tongue, her mother. Warm fur, her mother. Little bodies around her, her siblings.
Straight away she loved her mother. And her siblings, with their constant presence, were comforting, and she loved them to.

When her eyes opened a constant desire to make her way toward the strange wall of light constantly assailed her. As far as she knew it was a wall. The other three walls of the cave were stone and hurt if you tried to walk through them. She had banged her nose countless times on them in fact.

A relentless curiosity and a natural instinct drew her toward the ‘wall?of light, but she seldom reached it for her mother always stopped her. It was quite a conflict, her mind against her natural respect for her mother and she often became frustrated at it.

But finally the day came when they were allowed out. She finally learned the light was no wall, but an entrance to another world. The light outside was blinding after her whole life spent in the darkness of the den and for a moment the wide open space and the burning light of the sun made her afraid and she cowered to her mothers side. But the moment passed and soon she was exploring with her siblings.

When she first met her father she was awed, he was so big and fluffy and, so, so, white! Her first impression was the same love as she had for her mother, but she respected her father more from the first.

RP Example-

Keiko basked on a rock warmed by sunshine, eyes half-closed, feeling the heat lulling her into sleepiness. A pleasant, cool, breeze ruffled her fur now and then and made the leaves on the trees and the long grass whisper comfortingly as it swayed them. Summer was here and the grass Keiko, half-asleep, was idly watching bend in the breeze, was long and lush, it’s colour deeper than the fresh green of spring, but just as pleasant, and the blossoms on the trees were pretty, as were the colours of the flowers scattered among the grass.

She caught a movement out of the corner of her eye and half-heartedly turned her head to see what it was. A rabbit was slowly making its way across the grass, nibbling as it went. Eyes suddenly bright and wide Keiko gave the rabbit a speculative look and slowly rose from her rock. With an excited yap she couldn’t contain Keiko sprang at it and leapt up in the air and down again onto it, attempting to use a mouse pounce. But the rabbit saw and heard her a mile of. In a frantic blur of brown it vanished into it’s warren. With a grimace wrinkling her muzzle she glanced quickly around her to make sure no one had witnessed her failure and then sat down and sulked for a while.

She suddenly remembered that a caretaker had been posted to watch her, but she couldn’t see another wolf around. Looking suspiciously about she finally saw a tuft of gray fur. The caretaker was fast asleep under a tree. Several thoughts entered her mind at that point. She was no longer in the mood to sleep and the caretaker wasn’t awake and therefore couldn’t tell her of for anything.
Keiko decided that the day was ripe for a little adventure of some sort. After all her parents hadn’t said she couldn’t leave pup point, they’d just told the caretaker to keep an eye on her. She knew her siblings were elsewhere but she still had a brief search to confirm none of them had come back or something. None of them had. Disappointed she considered going to look for them, but she quickly dismissed that idea. Nah she would explore, then look for her siblings. She could tell them all about it and maybe she could show them where she had been. Satisfied with her reasoning she randomly chose a small path to follow and happily set off.

At first she enjoyed herself immensely. Of course she had no company…but it couldn’t be helped. Various small fast-moving things drew her of the path but she wasn’t really serious about it. She was just playing. The mice she chased probably would have derived quite a bit of comfort from this fact. But rather selfishly she neglected to tell them.
Once she leapt after a low flying bird and hit it with her outstretched paw. The bird seemed more annoyed than afraid and flew into a tree and sat there, scolding her viciously. The growls she directed it seemed to make little impact on it and she eventually gave up the contest and stalked away from the infuriating creature.

However, after that brief encounter something Keiko hadn't considered caused her more than a little discomfort. There wasn’t any shade on the path she walked and the sun, quite suddenly, turned from a joy to an merciless foe, burning her black fur with heat so that she was soon panting and tired. It wasn't fair! Why did it have to be so hot! The dusty path seemed to stretch ahead forever and ever and she felt like she was turning slowly melting away?BR>Keiko sat down on the cracked earth and whined. There was no one there to hear it. But it made her feel better. Stupid sun. She would've given it one of her famous glares, but her mother had said you shouldn't look directly at it. Instead she settled for panting vigorously for a while. Then the heat was just to much and she got up and ran around wildly, looking for shade. When she found none she hastily trotted back to Pup point. The rest of the day was spent brooding in the shade of a bush, snapping at the poor caretaker when she attempted to engage Keiko in conversation.

Markings ?Hoshi gets her name from a patch of light ivory fur on her forehead which is shaped like a star. While most thought it’d go away, it did just the opposite. It got bigger and the five points even more prominent.
Personality ?With a strong sense of morals, Hoshi is willing to see the opposing picture, but will not bend her beliefs for anyone. She cannot stand injustice and usually sides with the underdog in most situations instead of going with a majority she feels is being unreasonable. However, she still respects those of higher rank than her and especially her parents. She does not allow her emotions to leak out, nor gives her opinion when she thinks it won’t matter. Very brave, determined, and curious, Hoshi has some trouble keeping her stubbornness under control.

Overall, Hoshi is a very responsible, rule-abiding pup, and remains even more so as she grows older. However, she does know when she needs to cross the line when necessary and looks out for all of her siblings. More of a listener than a speaker, Hoshi spends most of her time just wandering the lands by herself. Knowing the grounds very well, her specialty lies in not being found when others search for her. She enjoys the stillness of nature and walks on her own, though the company of a friend or a sibling is always most welcome. She can be quiet, though never shy, when she meets someone she doesn’t know much about, and is always ready for any situation, if it was to arise. First impressions are very important to Hoshi.

Even though she grows up to be a very responsible wolf, as a pup, she still had her fun. It was through her experiences that shaped Hoshi to become more and more like the way she is now. Although she isn’t necessarily self-sacrificing all the time, she is willing to take the blame of her siblings or cover up a story to get them out of trouble. She has no trouble lying for the better of a loved one, except that it sits on her consciousness for a while if it was for, what she believes to be, a bad reason. For the majority of the time, however, Hoshi is very honest and would rather not speak at all rather than to tell a lie.

History ?Born into the litter of the Silver Mountain pack’s alpha and alphess, her first feeling (other than being hungry, of course) was something that every pup in the world should feel snuggling next to their parents and siblings: warm, safe, and loved. Even as a pup, Hoshi was a silent one. Unlike her siblings, who would often yelp occasionally, she would only do so when she had crawled away to an unfamiliar place or if she desired milk and her mother was no where to be found.

When they were all ready to be let out into world, or at least as far as their parents would let them, Hoshi was one of the few that scrambled out first, and was also the first to come back in. Sure there were lots of curious things to see, but the den remained her comfort zone and she wasn’t so eager to leave it already. It was only when she felt that she was ready that she spent most of the day outdoors, figuring out what was what. What to eat, what not to eat, and what made what noise. Fascinated by the colors of the leaves, the patterns in the dirt, and the scent in the air, Hoshi eventually got herself lost within the pack’s territory, but was still lost nevertheless. However, instead of panicking, Hoshi eventually sniffed her way back to the Pup Point where her parents were searching for her. After seeing her parents so worried about her, Hoshi vowed to never make her parents so worried ever again, especially over her.

From then on, she would bring back her siblings that went too far, and growled at those who wandered off without saying where they were headed. Although she wasn’t overprotective and required everyone to check in with her or whatnot, she would worry in her parents?place when they weren’t around. Everytime her parents would get worried, she felt a twinge of guilt for being the first to make them concerned when she was lost.

…will add more with siblings history, if accepted.

. .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . ..

So close? So close!! “Gotcha!!?Hoshi said with a pounce, her paws on top of a grasshopper. The pup raised her crown with pride, looking around to see if anyone had seen her victorious capture. She put her nose by her paw, sniffing it for a few seconds before lifting one paw off slowly?Hoshi let out a yelp, padding a few steps back. Too close, too close!! The grasshopper who had jumped on her muzzle quickly jumped off, landing somewhere in the grass a few feet away. With a huff, Hoshi decided to amuse herself with a beautiful monarch butterfly instead.

One might’ve called Hoshi easily amused, but she preferred curious and adventurous, minus all the trouble that the other pups got themselves into. At least she had no desire to go into the land where she could no longer smell the packs?territory. She nearly always did what she was told and stayed within the area that was restricted for her and her siblings. Off in the fields, Hoshi continuously pounced at the butterfly try after try to catch the flying wings. She didn’t quite yet notice how the dry grass was turning into a soft plush one beneath her paws, nor did she take any note of the dampness in the air. It was when she heard the sound of a waterfall that Hoshi let the butterfly go free before pursuing a new target.

Divine Falls. She had only heard of it but didn’t quite know where it was. It was her specialty, really, getting lost and finding a way out. After all, she had accomplished that even as a tiny pup! Surely she could handle anything else that stood in her way! The pup, still proud of her grasshopper catch, ran ahead towards the deep pool. Not being able to see the rocks or the ground, she decided against jumping in. It was foolish thing to do, getting into danger when no adult wolves were around. It called for stupidity, attention, and scolding; Hoshi was fond of none of them.

Deciding to leave and come back another time, Hoshi trotted down along the moist soft grass, only to stop when something caught her eye. A bright light from the middle of the waterfall nearly blinded the young pup who could’ve sworn that she had seen a rainbow in the waterfall. No, not on, literally in. If curiosity had killed the pup, then Hoshi would’ve been long gone by now. Running towards the base of the waterfall, the white pup whimpered. Little droplets of water landed on her fur, making it damp. She couldn’t seem to see the rainbow anymore, but she didn’t doubt herself. She knew what she saw.

Her bright emerald eyes gazed the perimeter, widening slightly at the trail of huge boulders that made its way up, up, and up. She licked her muzzle as she backed up for a running start and jumped onto the first boulder, crawled onto the second, pounced onto the third, and nearly fell of the fourth. The little droplets were like hard rain now, and it stung her slightly. Remaining where she was, Hoshi stretched out her neck to look over and below at pool of water and the majestic waterfall pounding into. It all seemed so much more bigger and darker, and very, very intimidating. Starting to whimper and yelp, Hoshi circled around in her place a few times before deciding to jump back down the massive rocks. Her brilliant sparkling eyes were dull with fear as she jumped down each one, trying her best to talk herself down.

Finally jumping off the last one, Hoshi found herself shivering and whimpering. She miserably padded back to the spot where she had first seen the rainbow which was long gone by now. Miserable and cold, the pup plopped down on the grass, resting her muzzle on her paws. She wasn’t in the mood to worry about getting back. She didn’t want to move. She’d stay here until she saw the rainbow again and prove that she wasn’t seeing things.

Two minutes later, Hoshi was off sniffing her way back home.

Ashkii and Kasil may have up to 6 pups.
Special notes
The following Japanese names were chosen for this litter in keeping with a Japanese theme started with Ashkii's firstborn, Etsuko. While you don't have to use these names, they are very much preferred. Other Japanese names are also favored with this litter should those auditioning find another Japanese name they like. More than one person may audition for a pup using these names:
Chinatsu (will accept alternate spelling of Shinatsu), Daichi, Ryota & Katashi.
Ashkii's firstborn has been claimed by Kimberly. She will post her pup's application shortly.

Name - we are temporarily lifting the letter ban ONLY for the pups. However I will be keeping an eye on all the names being submitted and if we get a flood of say S names, I will PM you and request alternate names for your pup.
Age - 0 to 6 months
Mate - none
Rank - puppy
Gender - Male or Female
Species - (father's species) & (mother's species)
Pelt - please try to make it match the parents and any relatives on SM. If they aren't on SM then go with the parents and species standard.
Eyes - something normally found in the wild please
Length - (at 6 months, which is half their adult size roughly)
Height - (see length)
Weight - (see length)
Parents - duh, the parents. ^^
Siblings - you may leave this blank for now since you've no way of knowing the names of your siblings yet. ^^
Markings - optional
Personality - please PLEASE read the parent's personalities and go from there. Mahlen and Duchess wouldn't have a pup that was a wimp and afraid of it's own shadow, nor would Ashkii and Kasil give birth to a raving blood thirsty monster.
History - put something here! you don't get the pups until they are a month old so you will have stuff to put here - their first trip into the wide world, first impressions of their parents, first time they saw their siblings... etc.

Claimed Pups
To be RPed by Kimberly
Firstborn
Name ?Etsuko, nicknames ~ Sunshine, Eko, Su
Age - 0 to 6 months
Mate - none
Rank - puppy
Gender - Female
Species - Tundra & Rocky Mountain/Timber Mix
Pelt ?as a puppy Etsuko will be mostly white with tints of brown along her back and flanks. As she gets older she will slowly turn pristine white on her legs, lower flanks, chest and muzzle while along her ruff, back, upper flanks and tail she will turn a golden color. The back of her ears will be a golden cinnamon color and the tip of her tail will be a golden red as well.
Eyes ?she will have her parent’s brilliant emerald eyes
Length ?she will take after her father and grow to be a tall wolf. At six months she’ll be 3.5 feet long
Height ?at six months she’ll be 2 ft tall
Weight ?at six months she’ll weigh a healthy 50 pounds
Parents ?Ashkii and Kasil
Siblings ?n/a
Markings - none
Personality - She earned her nickname Sunshine for her coloring and her feisty personality. From the moment she is born, Etsuko is feisty, fun loving, and in short - a handful. Trying to keep her in one spot is like trying to stop the wind from blowing. Always up to have fun, an adventure or to discover something new, Etsuko is forever on the go. A born leader, she loves to round up a gang and take off on some expedition. In the event she finally is cornered physically her mind is busy exploring, questioning and testing things, her parent's patience included, and boundaries. As she grows older she'll develop a bit of a mouthy streak and her grandfather Kierno's temper will start to show. Bold and spirited anyways, she's got a habit of letting her mouth overload her rear, which consequently lands her in trouble with her parents. And while she isn't as explosive as Kierno, she holds traits that as she gets older shows she won't take disrespect from anybody for very long regardless of how old they might be.
History ?will fill in once the rest of the pups are adopted.

[When older, of course. ^^]
Name - Katashi
Age - 0 to 6 months
Mate ?N/A
Rank - Puppy
Gender - Female
Species ?Arctic/Tundra & Mackenzie Valley Wolf/Timber Wolf
Pelt ?The fact that her mother and father possessed coats that contradicted themselves produced a whelp with a bit of both. Most of her body is a coat of ebony hue, but upon her underbelly is a pure white.
Eyes ?As both her mother and father bore a certain shade of green eyes, her own are the same, in a bright, sparkling hue. They sparkle excitedly, often glittering with a mischievous hint, even when she doesn’t intend them to do so…although often she does.
Length ?3 [5.9 when she reaches her full size]
Height ?1.9 [3.8 as an adult]
Weight ?50 [99 at adulthood]
Parents ?Ashkii and Kasil
Siblings ?N/A
Markings ?She possesses hardly visible white mark upon her ear, one that appears very similar to a small arrowhead.
Personality ?Katashi has always been known to be the mischievous, daredevil type. She’s never afraid to revolt against her parents?words and often ends up in trouble for actions that contradict the rules she’s taught. Still, she loves to wander off and explore things—and certainly has an eye for pranks. She often plays tricks on others, although, despite everything, never actually hurts anyone. Good at heart, she’s not always pure, in the sense that one would never consider her the ‘good girl? Ha. She’ll also participate in dangerous things just for the fun of it.
For instance, if she’s told never to wander into another pack’s lands—well, she may just do that. And while perhaps sneaking and taking precautions of her own, she certainly doesn’t know enough not to get caught, which might one day cause her to end up in a whole mess of trouble. She does, though, have a certain amount of charisma, often gathering the other whelps and convincing them to participate in these deeds with her, even those reluctant at first. Her dream is to learn to be the greatest hunter and warrior that every lived—but then, whelps always have these sort of goals, don’t they?
History ?As she first opened her eyes, she was directed by instinct: to nurse. Regardless of all else, that was her main goal, and so, as she does many things, she didn’t fail to accomplish such. But then again, that is fairly obvious. Otherwise, she would be dead. Like all puppies (or, at least, hopefully), she loved her parents on sight. After all, that was the first thing she knew, and immediately fancied their presence. It was the same way for her siblings, if not more; there was constant contact between all of them, and so the closeness of their bodies, the warmth they all produced, together, generated a happiness that one might not ever be able to reach again. Her siblings were the closest of friends she could possibly have.
As she began to grow—and need milk a little less—she attempted to do multiple things on her own; she would try and get out the den’s opening, away from her parents, perhaps simply out of curiosity. Of course, being as she was very small and moved incredibly slow—it was more of a crawl than anything—they would catch her every time. But she would try it many times, to get out, yearning to know what was out there. Every single time they stopped her, she grew more interested than the time prior to that. She even encouraged some of the other puppies, her siblings, to try it with her. One time, she nearly made it, as her mother and father were distracted elsewhere…but, once again, not quite. They were primitive feelings, of course: she had barely opened her eyes, after all, and so knew very little of the world and everything about it, but she was significantly curious.
When they were finally old enough to where they could walk around, she was the first one to do so. And where was the first place she directed herself? Toward the exit. As she grew, she realized her parents only had the ability to stop her if they caught sight of her, and so she began attempting to hide herself from view, using any means necessary. At last she was able to do so—independent and free. She looked around, surprised the brightness of everything in the outer parts. And they found her, soon, after, but she’d accomplished her task. It was the first time she’d ever felt pride…but it wouldn’t be the last.
When they were allowed out of the den, which wasn’t much longer after she’d been out, she set to exploring every nook and cranny she was allowed, and trying to explore those she wasn’t. She loved playing with her siblings, getting them to go with her many times, other times going by herself, proving the fact that she didn’t need anyone else and that, yes, she was plenty independent. The times she accomplished a task—and, to be honest, the times she didn’t—she’d come back with her head held high. Because she was the one to have planned it, organized it, and done it…regardless whether she ended up completing it or not. But when she did manage to do so, one could always tell by her stride and the air about her. And, besides, she was a pup that didn’t plan on giving up.

“You shouldn’t do this!?hissed one of her siblings to the retreating figure of Katashi. She just grinned rather mischievously, throwing a glance back, and questioned, “Sure you don’t want to come??/FONT>
The figure shook her head vigorously, annoyed. “C’mon, really. You’ll get caught! You’ll get in trouble!?/FONT>
“I get caught a lot—but I still do it!?she told her, this time not even throwing a backwards glance but trotting onward, a grin rising across her features. Her sister had obviously given up, for the stream of words faded from behind her, and a certain relief settled upon the black-hued female. The sun had risen to an extreme point in the sky, clearly stating that it was approximately noon, which was the cause of the significant amount of cascading sunlight, glittering upon her ebony coat. It made it shimmer and dance as it caught the raise, matching the mischievous look that Katashi had shot her sister. Honestly, she was so…so uptight about everything. However, the whelp had managed to get her sister on a couple of her adventures, which was definitely saying something.
Head high, as if she was the Alpha ‘round this part, she seemed to be pretending she was one of high standing. Her stride was lifted, a prance of sorts, suggesting she was rather proud of herself today. Her glimmering green eyes held the ever-remaining trace of mischief that had reflected itself upon her features in prior moments, and, all of a sudden, she set forward at a stronger pace, determined to go faster than she’d ever gone before. She was on a mission. Katashi was about to cross the border between Silver Mountain and Crimson Valley—and she was absolutely resolute in her decision, as always. This time, however, she wasn’t able to get anybody to come with her. Actually, she had to give some credit; a few had been away doing chores, although the others were afraid of getting caught.
What was the fun if there wasn’t any risk, though?
Besides, she’d never been to any other pack lands, and she was intent on making this new journey, to satisfy her growing curiosity…for now. A cheerful—not to mention proud—had taken up residence upon her maw, making her look absolutely determined. And happy, of course. The female continued onward, not giving one glance in a backwards motion. Why should she have regrets? Even when her parents caught her, she gave little in the way of apology, and if she was apologizing, it was not because if she’d been given the same opportunity again, she wouldn’t have claimed it. She would have, without a doubt. But if she didn’t put them off, like that, didn’t say sorry or that she’d been wrong, they might’ve gotten angry with her, restricted her further, and then she wouldn’t be able to go on her great quests! Don’t get her wrong, of course—she loves her parents. But she also loves to disobey them.
Finally, she came across the border of the two lands, marked very apparently by the scents. And still there remained a problem—the fact that she smelled akin to any other of her pack. Thinking of her past pranks, she realized she might be able to disguise her scent a bit by washing…ah, but she didn’t quite have enough time. To be fair, she was rather smart in accordance to such things—the ability to be hidden, secretive, not at all conspicuous. She’d had enough practice. But her heart was pounding and she was really far too excited to take the time to find water to wash herself in. Or even to wash herself.
So there she went, trotting across the border, carelessly and recklessly.
This would be a journey, all right.
One, for better or for worse, she’d never forget.
[I added a sister, just for the sake of this sample post. If you'd like me to take her out, that's alright. I just figured it'd define her more if I added a sibling in. =] Well, so happy to be auditioning for a puppy! Yayy. She's deifnitely my top puppy pick.
Hope you like it.]

Saita as a pup.

Name - Saita
Age - 0 to 6 months
Mate - none
Rank - puppy
Gender - Male
Species ?Artic/Tundra (Ashkii) & Mackenzie Valley/Timber (Kasil)
Pelt ?Mostly grey with spots of darker gray, white, and black. White paws. His pelt will get progressively lighter as he ages.
Eyes ?Start out a pale blue and change into a light brown and amber mix.
Length ?2.8
Height - 2
Weight - 53
Parents ?Ashkii and Kasil
Siblings -
Markings -
Personality ?Saita is a very calm pup for his age, and would prefer to observe things before making rash decisions. Though he has a temper, like his grandfather, he has learned how to control it, to some extent. He still can get rather frustrated with his siblings, and will lose his temper at times when he isn’t careful, but he always apologizes afterwards. He tries to guard his emotions, trying to keep them as hidden as possible. He doesn’t like people asking him questions about what’s wrong or if he’s okay. He prefers to be left alone with things such as that.
Knowing who his parents are, he tries to uphold good behavior and an air of grace, but so far he has fell short of that in general. He always does something rash or immature at the worst times, such as around the upper ranks or in front of his parents. He will silently scold himself, yet it happens every time. He knows what he believes in, and what he sees as right and wrong, though he doesn’t try to force his beliefs on others. Most certainly not the first to greet those he doesn’t know, he can come off as shy, but once he gets to know them, he can be a great companion.
History ?I’ll put this in if I am accepted, and once we find out who the other siblings are, if that’s okay. If I need it for the audition, please let me know and I will fill something in.

RP Sample ?
The sunlight streamed into the den from the world outside, landing on the face of a sleeping pup. He was nearly 5 months old, and was already showing promise to be a wolf of decent size. A mix of colors adorned his pelt, which had changed the older he got. It had started out as a medium gray, but had eventually lightened to a lighter gray. There are a few spots of dark gray, though they are less noticeable and much lighter, less spots of black, the tip of his tail being one, and the more prominent splashes of white. His paws looked to have been dipped in some sort of paint or dye to turn them such a creamy shade of white, and it looked almost as if he had fell face first in a paint spill, for under his chin was white as well. He was a cute sight, curled up into a tiny ball and snoozing peacefully, but that was sure not to last for long. With siblings and pups littering his pack, he could rarely get a moment’s rest!
Indeed, it wasn’t long before his eyes fluttered open, revealing a dark shade of blue. They had started as a paler shade of their current hue, and had darkened just enough to notice a rather large difference. Eventually they would become a mix of brown and amber, but that was not for a while yet. He was still a pup, and they were still changing. They could appear green in some lighting, but indeed, they were blue. There were flecks of the green inherited from both of his parents, but there wasn’t enough there to sway their appearance. He seemed to take after his grandparents in quite a few areas, really, his appearance being only one. He had yet to finish growing, but he was almost halfway there. Within a few months, he would be a year old, and he would begin his life as a pack member.
He yawned, his tongue curling back into his mouth, before he snapped it shut with a sharp snap. He then slowly got to his feet, stretching lazily and yawning once more. His morning routine finished, he stepped outside, making his way farther from the den. He wasn’t worried about any attacks or anything. He was the son of the alphas, for crying out loud! And he hadn’t wondered so far that he couldn’t call for help if he needed to. He may have pride, but he wasn’t going to be stupid and get himself killed. He found his favorite rock and shifted his direction so he was aiming directly for it. He was soon at the base, and he reclined upon his haunches, looking up at it with mild interest. His head cocked to the side slightly as he examined the butterfly settled neatly on the tip. With a small smile, he put all his strength into his hind legs to spring him up and forward, landing lightly upon the rock.
The butterfly, it seemed, didn’t like his intrusion. He watched it fly away with a look of interest. He always wondered how it managed to stay in the air like that, but he knew it wasn’t possible for wolves to fly. Common sense had told him that, and thus he hadn’t tried it. If it were, when he jumped, he would keep going! He shook his head lightly before laying down on the rock, looking out away from the den. He loved how quiet it was after dawn, in the early hours. Only a few creatures were out and about, and he had the place to himself for a while. It was very nice, really. It gave him time to relax and just think, remembering everything he had seen. He wanted to take everything in, to see the world, but that was not something he could do just yet. Time would tell if maybe someday that might be possible, but for now, he was content in exploring his pack’s lands. They were enough for him.
Soon the peace was disturbed by a soft grunt, and he turned just in time to see his sister lunging at him. He moved out of the way, letting her land beside him atop the rock. She grinned and said,”Hey, Saita! Whatcha doin??He looked at her and said,”Just thinking. What are you doing up so early??She shrugged and said,”Couldn’t sleep. And you woke me up when you left!?He smiled softly and said,”Sorry about that. I’ll be more careful next time, okay??She nodded and grinned. ”Daddy got the others up when I fell on his nose. He wanted me to go find you, so I did. So come on!?He chuckled lightly and said,”Okay, sis, I’ll be right there.?She grinned and leapt off the rock, racing back to the den. He watched her go before sighing. So much for peace and quiet.
He got to his feet, glancing around one last time. He watched as two birds circled in the sky before one dove down into the trees. He knew it had found its prey, and when it didn’t come back out, he knew it had caught its prey. He shrugged and turned, leaping down off the rock. That was the way of nature. It had been that way for as long as any of them could remember, and he supposed it always would be. He made his way back to the den, though at a much slower pace than his sister’s. He wasn’t one to hurry unless the need was dire, or he had chosen to take a day off from behaving at all times and play with his siblings. It was okay every now and then to be a pup, but he didn’t do it too terribly often. He preferred to be the responsible and mature one, though he had seen some of the adults play with each other or the pups. He knew it was okay to do it, so he didn’t think too much of it. He smiled a little and picked up his pace, running back to the den. He slipped inside and smiled slightly, looking up at his father. He was ready for whatever he was called for.

Name - Keiko(it' a Japanese name, meaning blessed/respectful child)
Age - 0 to 6 months
Mate -
Rank - puppy
Gender - female
Species - Artic/Tundra/Mackenzie Valley Wolf/Timber Wolf
Pelt - black, with a traces of white on her chest. As she grows older her coat will grow darker, as her mothers did.
Eyes - green
Length - 2.6 feet
Height - 1.8 feet
Weight - 43 1bs
Parents - Ashkii & Kasil
Siblings -
Markings -
Personality -
Keiko is the most social wolf you can get.

When she's an adult. (:
Name ?Hoshi
Age ?0 to 6 months
Mate ?N/A
Rank ?Puppy
Gender ?Female
Species ?¼ Arctic and ¼ Tundra (Father), ¼ Mackenzie Valley Wolf and ¼ Timber Wolf (Mother)
Pelt ?Even at a young age, Hoshi was told that she was a splitting image of father. Inheriting the majority of her father’s looks, she has a nearly white pelt with a tint of a light crème color. However, as she matures, the bottom of her hind two legs, the tip of her tail and ears are dipped with a rich black to prove that she’s still the daughter of Kasil. Hoshi also has fur of a darker crème on her front left paw and her underbelly.
Eyes ?Very much like her parents, Hoshi has a pair of brilliant emerald eyes. However, the one on her right is deeper and darker than the other. It isn’t a significant difference, but enough to notice it when close.
Length ?2.9; 5.7 at adulthood
Height ?1.8 at birth; 3.9 at adulthood
Weight ?47 lbs. at birth; 97 at adulthood.
Parents ?Ashkii and Kasil
Siblings ?N/A for now
Markings ?Hoshi gets her name from a patch of light ivory fur on her forehead which is shaped like a star.

NOTE: This is my second pup that I am applying for and I may apply for more. I just want to say that no matter how many puppies I apply for I only want to rp one, so hopefully I do get one of the puppies that I apply for but please only accept one of mine if you like, as I only want one puppy, thanks! (Farri is my favorite of the wolves I’m applying for, if that matters in your decisions. She is the one I would like to rp the most)

Name - Farri
Age ?not yet born (will be two months when I begin rping her)
Mate - none
Rank - puppy
Gender - Female
Species ?Arctic / Tundra / Mackenzie Valley / Timber Wolf
Pelt ?Farri’s pelt takes mostly after her father and grandmother as it is mostly white. She does however have tints of browns and greys most likely from her other grandparents that overlay the white. Her eyes are rimmed with a silver shade and she had a light amber color that runs up her nose. Her ears are a vibrant orange and amber color as is the base of her tail. Her tail is also tipped with black at the very end. The rest of her body is mainly white though covered with pastel shades of amber and grey. Her back is brushed with light silver and her chest and flank are dusted with a light orange. Her pelt never really gets very long, even in the winter months. She obviously did not inherit this form her father’s side.
Eyes ?She has inherited the family eye color; green. Her eyes are a lighter and less rich green however than her parents, but they are still very pretty. They are more of a light green with a yellowish tint to them. The inner rim that is barely visible around her pupils is a bright gold and golden flecks can be spotted throughout the eyes, this is where they get their yellowish tint.
Length ?as of a few months of age she is around a foot and 3 inches. She will grow however to be 5.5 feet long.
Height ?She’s roughly two feet. She will grow to be 3 feet and 9 inches, as she is a very tall wolf, most of her height is in her legs. She has more of a square relationship between her height and her length due to her stilt like legs.
Weight ?around 40 pounds or so. She will however grow to be 102 pounds by adulthood, most of this will be muscle. She is very muscular and it shows.
Parents ?Ashkii and Kasil (Alpha Pair)
Siblings ?none other than her littermates
Markings ?none as of yet
Personality ?This girl is a ball of energy. As a puppy she is strong minded and strong willed, she has always believed that she can achieve anything she puts her mind to. She is VERY loud and loves to be the absolute center of attention. Being born into a large litter she has to be this way to get the attention she thrives on. She loves to play around and have fun and she is always kind to every wolf she meets. She wants nothing to do with the war and wants there to be peace. She is always happy and never sad or quiet and she loves to share her happiness with the world. She always seems to be able to turn any unhappy situation into a fun and happy one. She is very optimistic and can always find the silver lining in anything.
She also loved to exercise. She loves running and swimming and any kind of physical activity. She is extremely fast, even at a young age. Speed is her gift and she knows it. She will never gloat though, she is always very nice about it and very modest, but she will still smoke you.
History ?
Well to start it all off, she was born. Farri was born into a large litter to her mother Kasil, Alphess of the Silver Mountain Pack. Farri wad born with an honor: her parents were the Alphas. It wasn’t like she was the heir, but she still felt important. There were other puppies born that year, but not to the Alphas. Farri still remembers the day she opened her eyes. Not many wolves can remember back that far, but for some odd reason Farri can. She remembered how she used to just squirm around in the dark and do nothing else really. Her world simply consisted of her mother and her siblings.
But then one day she opened her eyes. For the first time she could see. She took in everything, and for the first time she felt alive. She could feel the warmth of her mother and her siblings, she could smell all of their warm happy scents, she could taste the thick warm comforting air of the den, she could hear all of her siblings little grunts and squeals, and for the first time she could see her great mother surrounded by the tiny balls of fur that were her brothers and sisters.
As Farri grew she became one very outgoing puppy. She was born into a very large litter, so she had to do SOMETHING for attention! She would always try to talk to all of the adults and strike up a conversation with any wolf, even if it wasn’t one she knew. All she wanted to do for her first couple of months was have fun and play. She would be constantly playing. She would recruit anyone within hearing range to come play with her, and if no one was there she would play by herself. There were tons of fun things to play with in her world. There were grasshoppers and bumblebees, butterflies and frogs. There was nothing more to her life at this stage than the birds and the bees and her family that loved her.

RP Sample:
“It’s morning!!!!!!!!!?Farri screamed as she was the first to burst out of her den. She bent into a play bow and turned to face the den entrance where her family lay. “Come on you guys wake up! Wake up!!!?Her tail was wagging ferociously. Oh morning was just so exciting! She had the whole day ahead of her to play and talk and have fun!!! Farri bounced around her father’s legs as he exited the den. “Hey Daddy! Good morning Daddy! What are you going to do today, Dad! You know what I’m gonna do? I’m going to go play by the waterfall!!! Isn’t that cool!? Do you want to come, Daddy! We’d have so much fun!!! You should come!!! We could splash and swim and climb stuff and chew stuff and oh there’s just so much to do let’s get going Daddy let’s go, let’s go!!!!!!!!!!!?Oh this was just so exciting! She and her Dad were going to play at the waterfall ALL DAY LONG!!! Woo hoo!!!!! Oh could this day just get any better? Oh she was so excited!!!!
Farri bounced off with Ashkii in tow. Her too-large-for-her-body white paws bounced over the springy fresh grass. The springtime had very fun grass, it was all new and shiny and springy. When you jumped down on it, it sprang you back up! Farri bounced around on the grass for a minute before seeing a butterfly. Ooh!!!!! BUTTERFLY!!!! Farri squealed with laughter and she chased it around and tried to paw at it. Its wings were as white as her Daddy and as most of her body too. She hopped along on her hind legs looking utterly ridiculous as she held her front paws in the air batting at the butterfly. She laughed the whole time and her tail just couldn’t stop wagging.
The butterfly eventually flew too high for Farri to be able to get at it anymore. "Bye Mister Butterfly!!!" Farri laughed as she watched it flutter away into the trees. At that she remembered her trip to the falls and jumped into a bounding puppy lope again. She ran as fast as a puppy her age could. She could hear the falls now. She heard the roaring purr of the waterfalls coming in the distance. She liked the way they sounded. They were loud enough that they blocked out other annoying noises but weren’t loud enough that they were annoying themselves. With a last bounding leap over a fallen branch she sprang into the clearing surrounding the falls. As she saw them she squealed with delight and raced to the water’s edge. She didn’t bother testing the water temperature. If you’re not able to handle chilly water then what’s the point in living? She jumped right into a pool just to the side of the falls. The water was not deep enough to cover her completely, so she was not in danger. She was a smart puppy, she knew not to do anything too risky.
She splashed around and batted at the water for a few minutes sitting down finally in the pool of water. What a pretty day. The sun was still on the rise in the east as it was still morning. The morning birds were all going about their daily chirping choir, but they were out sung by the voice of the waterfall. Farri closed her eyes and felt the warmth of the sun through her eyelids. She sighed a breath of complete and utter peace and happiness, something that no wolf had felt in these lands for a long time. But the war meant nothing to Farri. In her mind it was just a silly argument that adults have sometimes. She stuck her nose to the sun and looked at the light trough her eyelids. She wagged her tail under the water and her ears were resting up and forward taking in the sounds of the falls. What a great day, and it was still only the beginning.

~Welcome~
~To Two Wolves Legend-A Love Story~

Two Wolves
A Love Story that became a Legend
by
Robert Joseph Thompson

Of particular importance, are the impressions of those who knew the wolves best; the Indians who hunted the same lands. They respected wolves for their:
Intelligence
Hunting Ability
Stamina
Loyalty
Parenthood

The word “wolf?is one of the more frequently used in Indian names, and the Indian’s believed that name giving was a sacred rite, linking the individual to the Divine.

The great black wolf finally reached the cave.
His short journey had taken a long time, costing him much blood.
He inspected the floor carefully, as if choosing a first, or last, resting place.
Completing this ritual, he slowly turned full-circle,
and then sank, exhausted, to the sandy floor.
A shadow moved to his side.
The she-wolf washed his face and cleansed his wound.
Sharp rib-bones protruded from his crushed side.
Around their whiteness the black pelt was matted with much flowed wetness.
The dark wolf no longer remembered the she-bear killing the wolf-pup.
No longer did he hear the screams of his dying daughter.
Experience was drowned in rage.....and he had been careless.
The snow was tinted for miles now with the price of his error.
Each time his shattered self trembled with pain, she leapt to her feet,
and stood, attentively, over him.
Only after yet another washing of face and wound would she again lay beside him.
The time before them would bring change,
to a worsening, or a bettering.
Of again leading the pack, or, with his absence, for the pack to choose a new leader.
He, himself, had twice hunted for crippled wolves,
but they rarely lived a year, and never survived a hard winter.
Now, fitfully sleeping, he dreamed of pain-free days, of their days, together.
Visions from times past flowed through him;
romping puppy-like through dark forests.
Swimming rivers and wading lake shores.
Prancing as a pair in flowered meadows,
fishing streams by herding the shallows,
test-chasing the caribou ever seeking the weak one,
the varied litters and joint duties of parenthood,
that sudden, harsh blizzard when they curled against each other under the snow.
Rare among mammals, he was always with her at birthings,
and, most soul-stirring,
they shared prayer of prehistoric duets to the shimmering heavens.
Everywhere, every day, they were together.
They were seen as inseparable
and the red people came to speak of two devoted lovers by saying;
“as close as the two wolves.?BR>While he slept, she brought him meat, freshly hunted,
first, a grouse,
then, a rabbit,
and even, morsels of moose,
but he could eat nothing.
He dreamed of leading the troop again, remembering the fight
to become pack-leader.
No wolf ever shared leadership, but they did.
Perhaps, because she had always been near him,
she remained there.
Only she, was faster than he,
and during the chase, she raced in front, leading them all.
All this, was much talked about
around the fires at night
and the words, “a good mating?BR>always spoke of a superior couple, be they animal, or people.
He quivered, his strength seeping away, through his injury.
He floated back through the many years of good hunts.
With her, ever near him, they ran as one.
Invincible, were they.
No animal could out-plan them.
Trailing the caribou, for weeks at a time
they preyed on a series of weaker animals.
Much meat, many times, for many hungers.
They were good leaders, guiding their brethren to hunt well and thus survive.
Their most peaceful times, in any season
came, when they were resting.
Perhaps, with his muzzle touching her, or her head resting on him.
He dreamed on, the memories coming faster now:
their first singing, together,
to the spectacular streakings of Northern Lights,
their young coming into the sunlight for the first time,
blinded, blinking,
how they haunched and wondered at the world
After birth-times, he hunted for all.
Later, they alternated food-gathering,
one of them always remaining with the young.
And later still, the last step, when they became teachers
leading the young to hunt.
How quickly the whelps grew
How soon they became young adults.
How quiet the cave once more
How swiftly came yet another winter.
His pain was greatest with any movement, however slight.
Then, each breath brought discomfort,
and increasingly greater pain.
When she noticed a tear of blood seeping from his mouth,
she whimpered in uneasiness at the nearness of death.
Her ears raised as the wind groaned softly echoing her grief.
She heard an owl call and saw the snowy sweep of wind dusting their door.
He, alone, saw the distant spirit-pack rushing to greet him.
Only he, heard their yelpings grow louder as they drew ever closer.
Frantically, desperately, the she-wolf tried to rouse him,
with barks and tugs, then pleadings and whinings.
But, he was already running at the front of the ghost-pack,
whose sharp yelps of excitement followed him across the heavens
as he rapidly neared the spirit-elk that sought, futilely,
to escape him among the stars.
The cave became colder, the blood stopped seeping,
the dark form set and stiffened.
She, ever faithful, continued the solitary vigil.
Puzzled, at the newness of his not breathing, she became more restless,
nuzzling and whimpering against the shadowy stillness,
but he answered not.
A long, heart-stricken cry announced to the world that her mate was gone.
It proclaimed , again and again,
that where two had been one,
there was now but one,
and that one,
incomplete.
Many days passed and still she mourned in and near the cave.
She alternated between a stricken sentinel at his side,
and the mourner, sharing her sorrow by way of the wind with all the world.
Such a long time she spent there that all the village came to know
that the black leader lay quiet in the cave
and she, as yet,
could not,
would not,
leave him.
They saw that she hunted not and grew gaunt.
The grey-heads nodded at her will to not live.
Sometimes the survivor chose to feed only on sorrow.
It had happened before.
As she approached death, the impressed villagers
added this to their tribal lore,
“as faithful, as the grieving she-wolf?
It was seen, thereafter, that her hair began turning lighter,
beginning along the muzzle, then inching back along her face,
until her head was completely white.
In bright starlight her snowy head would glitter
near the mouth of the cave
and words were passed from brave to squaw,
that she too, had died,
but her eyes and ears remained,
to watch and listen
for his return.
The people were startled when her living skeleton was seen again,
for they had thought her dead.
She was much observed running all their old trails.
Always alone,
looking here,
looking there,
ever coming back to the end and resting again,
beside the quiet shadow,
that was no longer he.
The familiar paths, their paths,
these were the ones she constantly padded,
as if, by trailing their past, she might find him present.
She thought he was teasing her by playing the hiding game,
as she had teased by hiding on him.
But he had never before hid so well, nor for so long.
So, she continued, calling and searching,
and the hunters who many times saw this,
added these to the village words,
“search as the she-wolf searches.....endlessly?
After many pleadings to end the game she always returned,
in desolation, to the cave.
Within a season she was completely white
and in the moonlight
appeared as a thing not of this world.
The families believed that she had died.
But, unable to find her mate in the star world,
her spirit had returned to search for him here.
Whenever seen she became much talked about,
because, to see her, was considered a sacred thing.
When the time came for the pack to gather,
they assembled near the cave,
but she joined them not.
They were loyal, remaining near the cave,
continually pleading, coaxing her daily,
with delicacies.
They were persuasive, and they persisted.
When the gray wolves again ran as a hunting-pack,
She was seen, as before, running at the fore.
When an ancient was told of this,
he smiled and said,
“even the spirits must eat?
She maintained an aloneness even while with the hunting group.
One thing was forever changed.
Each time a pack member approached her too closely,
she would turn on that unfortunate with great rage.
This was always true, whether running, or eating, or resting.
The space around her became inviolate.
When a red-person lost a mate
but hunted, or cooked for two,
or made the extra sleeping space,
of such a one, it would be said,
“like the she-wolf, a place is reserved....for the lost one?
She accepted no other mate.
When not leading the grey troop she continued alone, always searching.
She followed this pattern in all seasons for the rest of her life.
He had always been the strongest, and she,
being with him always, grew stronger.
Thus, to a new bride, this was said,
“like the she-wolf, stay by his side and grow strong?
A few times each year the entire pack
followed her to the cave and then waited uneasily.
She no longer called for him
but entered and lay a while
at the place where he,
began his journey to hunt the spirit-elk.
After that tribute, she returned to her following
and resumed the permanent homage
of mating again, never.
He was the wisest and because she always watched, she learned much.
And so, parents were heard to say,
“watch as the she-wolf watches, and you will learn.?BR>Those that traveled spoke to other tribes calling her
“the she-ghost?
and marveled that the gray pack should follow a spirit.
Behind her, they were formidable, moving with one will,
hunting well, and surviving.
Her ability to find game became so uncanny
that is was said her mate spoke to her from the star-clouds
telling her where to hunt.
Every council fire re-told the story of the silver she-spirit,
all knowing leader of the northern wolves,
ever-successful guide to whom the stars spoke.
She, the eternal seeker after her mate.
Years of searching.
And then the white wolf was no more seen by the eyes of this world.
Generations repeated their story,
telling of how she trailed him along the path
of The Great White Way
as she searched for him among the stars.
They are not forgotten.
Each time a strong wind howls down a canyon,
the red brethren say,
“listen The she-wolf still mourns?
They are often remembered.
Each year when the Northern Lights
gayly splash across the path
of The Milky Way,
it is said,
“the she-wolf has, at last, found him,
for this reason......the heavens dance?

Past Injuries/Illness: Avid fighter, has many scars and past injuries, too many to list
Any other history:

This creature was truly one with the night. She embraced the darkness, for it gave her the solace she needed to prowl, and hunt, unseen, and undetected. For this was the world of the Nocte Lupus, the world of the night. The light of the day she cursed, for that was what could be her undoing. More than a couple hours of direct exposure to the sun would most likely kille her. So what exactly did she look like? She came across as a walking nightmare when in full view. Kohl pelt was marred with a barrage of battle scars, crudely decorating her hide like a bizzare roadmap. A majority of the scars were small in stature, and yet, there were others of frightening expanses. Like the one noticable upon that broad, powerful chest, easily it measured six inches long, but the diameter was the most intriguing. Clearly, this wound must have been opened time and time again, for it was easily three inches across. Her face was like none other. One ear had been so severely damaged in some long ago battle that all that was left of it was useless ribbons of shredded and tattered flesh to be blown around by a breeze or her own movements, totally useless in any way. The damage wrought upon that ear had also cost her her hearing from within it. When she had her face turned towards another in full view, a ghastly discovery was then made. A single silver hue glared malevolently from the right side of her face, no pupil found withint. But upon the left side, one would see an empty socket, nothing within it but a mass of scar tissue and sparse fur. One large scar seemed to connect both the eye and the tattered ear. It began upon the right side of her face, skirting over the remaining orb, diving across the bridge of her nose, then curving upward to pluck out the left eye, continuing upward, seeming to end at the base of her useless ear. Clearly, fighting for her life was nothing knew to her, but one often wondered why she ended up the way she did. She was cold and calculating, a merciless killer when need arised, with a severe hatred for the male gender. Any male she would come in contact with was a creature to be demolished, attacked, and killed if at all possible. Although there were some instances in which she'd have to bite back her rage and wait until a more opportune moment. It did not bother her, for she was the Goddess of the night.. feared, hated, loved, and awed all at once. She knew justice would prevail, whatever her twisted, feral, uncivilized version of justice was. Her past will always haunt her.

Most every creature has had some sort of painful, possibly horrific parts of thier past. But few have ever had a past so full of hatred, lies, deceit, and violence as this one had. From early on in life, her hatred for males was nurtured, and the cruel ways she has today were expressed even back then. From a very young pup, she was molded to hate. If one was ever lucky enough to be able to hear her life story from her own lips, it would be shortened version of what actually happened.

She was born of pureblood parents, largest in a rather small litter of four. Her father had spent many months courting her mother, even before Nocturna went into season. He talked smoothly to her, brought her small gifts, layed on every inch of charm that he had. However, Nocturna was to later discover that Shadow was anything but a faithful, reliable mate to be honored with. When Nocturna finaly went into season, they'd mated, producing the small litter. Nocturna was pleased to have pups of her own, but something inside Shadow seemed to slowly change over time, as if he began to resent her and the small family she'd given him. When Brutal and her littermates were around twelve weeks of age, Shadow began disappearing late at night, giving all sorts of excuses to Nocturna as to why he must leave so late. Nocturna was frequently left alone all night, having to care for and defend for the pups all on her own. Little things began eating away at her mind, and finally, she decided to follow him one day. Perhaps he'd been far to excited to even notice her following him, melted into the shadows, for he -should- have been able to sense her. Or perhaps he did know she was there, and was beyond the point of caring. He travelled to another section of the forest, howling softly. From within a den, a female timberwolf slipped out to greet him. Nocturna knew the scent of estrous, and it took all her willpower to not rush out and attack them both as they made love in the manner only known to wild beasts. She quickly turned and loped home, tending to her family as if nothing had happened. He returned, and a fierce argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, his talons slashed open her cheek, leaving a flap of skin hanging. Then he stormed out again. This routine went on for quite some time until Brutal was about five years of age, young for a Nocte. Her father had come back after visiting one of his whores, and Nocturna attacked him a fruious rage. He fought back, severely wounding Nocturna. He drug her into the woods and left her for dead. Insanity had overcome him as he stormed back into the den, snarling curses as he pushed his way towards the terrified young. Brutal had attacked him then, fighting with a fierce tenacity never seen in her kind before. He managed to win, though, and yet, he didn't win. His intent was to kill them all. but Brutal alone managed to escape into the woods, with the shrieks, screams, and howls of her dying siblings echoing in her mind. She vowed to kill him once she had the strength.

The next several years were spent training herself in close combat. She learned every trick in the book, and then returned "home." Her father was still in the same den, with a new bitch curled alongside him, nursing a litter of ten. He seemed content now, totally unaware that his own daughter had arrived to sign his death warrant. When the attack came, he barely had time to react. She was everywhere at once, twisting, leaping, snarling, snapping. He'd had no time to defend himself. She tortured him for hours, smirking as she noticed the female didn't even attempt to help him. Finally, she stood over him, her face a mask of terrifying rage. She ignored his pathetic pleas to spare him.. she'd learned mercy was for the weak. Head shot forward, jaws opening slowly, saliva dripping off those jagged yellow fangs, bloodlust in her eyes. Jaws snapped closed with twenty times the force of a steel leg-hold trap, a pleasing shiver drifted through her body as fangs pierced the jugular, spiling her father's lifeblood. A deft twist and a jerk, and her father's throat was neatly removed, to be spat out atop his muzzle. She then turned to the female with a snarl, but did not attack. The female had no clue, and perhaps, she'd saved her from the pain and torment her mother went through. With the death howl echoing forth from her maw, she tore off into the night, never to return.

Other Information: Brutal has lived a harsh life. Because of this, she is unsocial, and can not stand males. She does tolerate them when she has no choice, but woe the male to cross her. She has a short fuse, and is easily angered. She is capable of making friends, and is loyal to a fault, for she will never stab someone in the back. She is cold and harsh, cruel in her behaviors. It takes a while to get used to her.

Firewater died that night and Dragon Tear and Night took her in as their own before Tear had her own set of pups. Sometime between bursts in the great war her mother and fathers angels came and bestoyed wings upon her back and told her she was destined for a greatness she would never understand. Try as she might SnowPaw never felt she was good enough or that she even fit in, even after she took the descesed Alpha's son as her mate. History- Long ago a sceintist experimented on a far away forgotten planet. He dabbled in things he should not have, genetics. He crossed wolves blood with spiders and other such things even great cats and bears and other animals anyone could think of. Soon the hybrids began breeding on their own and rebeling they killed their creator. The Hybrids kept breeding and never knowing exactly how their children would turn out over the years. Some few took off away to find new blood to breed with. Chakotay was one of these that left to find a new place and new hope. He never forgot who or what he was. Name- WintersFire
Alias- Winters
Age- 5
Breed- never came up with a name for her breed I will think about it
pups: Pregnant now, none born yet
Description- She is rather large for a female meeting the hight of many of the males and is heavy in build. Her colors are unique and hard to discribe. Her coat start off as a shimmiring white until about half way down the hair shaft where it turns to a midnight blue for about 1/4 of the shaft where finaly the hair is fire red. Her eyes turn red when she has a future sight warning or if she is angry otherwise they are sky blue.
Personality- Winters is motherly and loving and concerned about all. She was friendly until her forced breeding by an intruder. The only other wolf she had not gotten along with was the sister, Mystic, that she killed just before she became the Beta of Forest Haven.
History-Winters left a land that was cold and cruel to her and never ever speakes of it. She made sure her only living relative was killed and noone would ever know about her past or what had ever happened in the bad lands so that she could escape her personal soul captivity. She wandered days upon days not eating and hardly sleeping until she final heard the call of Taroq as he opened his pack lands. There her sister met up with her and played horrid dreams in her head, some that came true in time and others where just a game to torment her. Finaly she killed her sister to stop her pain. Within Forest Haven there was a worrior, the packs lead Worrior in fact, named Talutah. Winters' heart was torn between loving Taroq the Alpha who seemed interested in Kamao-Tesh and Talutah. Finaly Winters told Talutah of her love for him and they become mates. No matter how many times he left and came back she always remained loyal to him. One night she was weak and bearly able to move all alone on the borders patroling when Muddy Paws came upon her almost killing her and force breed her. In the middle of the force Talutah returned and killed the best that was locked with his half dead mate. Muddy laughed and mocked the pirate wolf in his last breaths. Talutah went to Winters and made sure she would live then disappeared again that very night. Winters vowed that she would never love another and hates the hellbreed within her womb.

Name- Kozmo
Alias- Koz, Kozzie, Kozmi, among many, many others.
Age- Looks about seven, but is actually much, much older.
Breed- Dark Angellic (yeah, I'm bringing them over here too, unless you don't want me to.)
Description- Like all of her breed, Kozmo is rather small and light, therefore rendering her quick on her feet, with a slight build that belies her actual strength. Her pelt is a dark, rich black as the primary base, with a layer of silver which creates boots for each paw, and a silver tail tip. Her wings, which are normally shielded beneath her fur, are fluffy and mainly black, with silver edges. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of bright blue-bordering-on-purple in the right light. Her pelt is double thick and soft, even around the ruff. And her voice? Is soft, sweet, and almost always tinged with compassion and dripping with empathy.
Personality- Kozmo is a Light wolf in every sense of the word. She is affectionate and loving, with a great capacity for compassion and highly defensive of things she deems to be 'weaker' or 'invalid'. However, this can make her too-trusting and she is generally viewed as being delicate and unable to stand up for herself. However, this is a lie, for, in the blink of an eye, she can become downright belligerent and, in brief moments of utter insanity, deadly. She worked long and hard to gain herself a reputation of being a force to be reckoned with in a fight, but, in recent years, has given that hardened side up in favor of her softer, more womanly side.
History- (Long and complicated. I'm sorting through old, original posts now, guys. So give me a little bit of time.)
Pack- None, and looking
Rank- None.
Alignment- Light
Other interesting facts- My first character EVER. I just HAD to bring her here.

Firstly, I'm sorry Winters but I really don't want to bring IS back. Three is my current magic number. I will enter a character in a thread soon. These are rough descriptions and I'm not sure on some of the history.

Name: Aisling [ash-ling] [dream or vision in Irish Gaelic]
Nick Name:
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Species: Wolf
Parents: Demonia & Zykilin
Mate:
Pups:
Siblings: Second born of nine.
Alignment:
Rank:
Pack:
Powers: Elemental of ice and shadows. She is very strong. Can read the future by the stars and planets/ looking into the eyes of others.
Personality: Rough and tumble with the boys, but not quite a tom-boy. A worrieress. Savage. She loves to fight and is quite connected with Clouded, Rittarz, and Viktor.
Appearance: Fur: Her tail is very full with dull red stipes, deep black, but in the moonlight it turns a brilliant blue pelt, white on her right forepaw from her shoulder blade down to her pawpads(which are black-purple, all of them), white dots under each eye(four each eye),
Eyes: Ice white-blue. Her pupils are just white, this gives an eerie appearance of all white eyes, unless in the moonlight.
Extra Stuff: Ragged bat wing ears. Black bat wings with short smooth fur, outlined by the red on her tail. Her nails are retractable and made of ice.
History: She was born with the Zeradas Army border. A week later, she was branded my the great dragon. It was then she met the panther-like, vampire role-model named Trecentt. Aisling trained and developed a close bond with her brothers. They were like an unstoppable force. With one war won and one largely lost, Zeradas [and Viktor] disappeared. With the Army disbanded and Aisling seperated from her family, she is all alone.

Interesting Facts: Born 1/18/04

Name: Demonia
Nick Name:
Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Species: Wolf
Parents: Unknown
Mate: Once a wolf named Zykilin
Pups: Clouded Darkness, Aisling, Viktor, Rittarz, Forbidden Silence, Ozouma
Siblings: None
Alignment: Evil
Rank:
Pack:
Powers:
Personality: Bi-polar. As a pup she was as stubborn as they come. Now, she is indecisive yet ever loyal to Zeradas. She's torn between her traitorous 'father', Soundless Death [and her son], and Zeradas. Strangely enough, growing up in the army hasn't made her as blood thirsty as she had hoped and instead she now worries solely for her family. When young, she was loud mouthed, many in the army have taught her how to control her lips, it sometimes still shows though. She doesn't seem to be on the best side with Zeradas, though she knows what to say and when, when she talks to him. She often becomes confused on how to treat and train pups, one minute she's yelling the next she crying because she yelled at the pup.
Appearance: All black with red eyes. She has black batlike wings. Many scars on her body, including some large ones on her stomach. Zeradas's mark is burned into her left leg.
History: Ever the headstrong girl, she joined the Army at the young age of two weeks old. She became a 'charge' of a male named FarFlight, her new babysitter. Soon after this, Demonia met a male named Soundless Death, whom she had a rather nice connection with. Many cruel months past, she left for a while and returned a full-fledged yearling. Soon, Demonia was given a pup to babysit as well, Valkyrie [and her sprite]. It was here that she ran off and found a love, Zykilin. After two wonderful months, she knew she must return home. Zykilin had disappeared and she left for the Army. Yet, she now discovered she was pregnant. She tried desperately to hide it by starving herself. She snuck back home, yet after a while she left in search of food. At this point, she was attacked severly, having been unable to care or even defend for herself in such a condition. She gave birth to 9 puppies that night. After a week and after three deaths, they were branded and soon began to train. They grew into strong Army members. Along the way, Ozouma was lost. A war soon broke out, Viktor died, yet was brought back to life. Rittarz betrayed them along with Soundless Death. Demonia's heart was split in two. They have recently lost a war and temporarily disbanded, leaving this girl all alone.

OOC: Olorun is a character that I have made for Wolf Web, but I enjoy her little muse so much that I wanted to make her again, over here. There are going to be some minor changes to her profile.:rollin

Player's Username - Lynne

Character Name - Olorun

Age - 13

Sex - Female

Type/Breed - White Wolf / Were

Fighting Style - With her small frame and quick feet, she is quite difficult to catch or even hit. She uses this advantage to tire down her enemy and then strike. Her only weapon of choice is a small, obsidian dagger the length of her hand from palm to fingertips, which she keeps strapped to her lower back.

Apperance - No matter what form she takes her frame is very lithe and slender, almost whippish thin. As a human she stands at 5'3 and weights 95 lbs. Her skin is a very pale, creamy hue, with a slight pink tinge all over. Her hair is white and use to fall to her waist, but has recently shorn the lengths as a sign of mourning. As a wolf, she stands no higher than two feet and the length of her body from tail to nose is just over three feet. Her fur is completely white except for a patch of gray at her throat and ears, and the flesh of her nose and pads are a healthy pink. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of tarnished gold.

Pack - None

Mate - None

Rank - Lone Wolf

Personality - Usually, she is a very quiet and calm creature, perceptive and cautious of the world around her. She enjoys watching and being in the company of others, though she remains quiet most of the time. She does not enjoy talking, so her conversations are limited and rare. Almost impossible to irritate and anger, her patience is never-ending.

History - Once, her family had been a large and harmonious clan. Never accepting the help or safety of a pack, that had always survived in the depths of the forests. One day, her father had been caught between two warring packs and had lost his life. In fear, her mother and sisters had all fled the area, deciding to find more populated areas to dwell in. Olorun was the only one who stayed behind.

Special Abilities [if applicable] - Photographic Memory, Stealth, Flexibility

Other Interesting Facts - She is convinced that the spirit of her father is haunting her now. She had been the youngest of the family, but her Father prided in her abilities over her siblings. She feels that she has disappointed him but not staying with her family and protecting them as he would have wished her too. The need to avenge his death is stronger then her will to protect her family, after they had fled their home and the memory of her Father. Now, she has developed a mild case of Kakorrhaphiophobia- fear of failure.
