Our lives are so much like a rose,
so beautiful, delicate, and fragile.
And like that rose our fragile lives
can be completely torn apart.
We are all in search of something;
A friend, a family, a companion for life.
Amazingly, through all lifes strife
I've found all three in you.
I have found a family I never knew I had,
A friend that I could never do with out,
And enough companions to last me a lifetime.
I would never know what to do
If I lost what I have found.
I might as well be 6 feet underground,
For you, my love, and your family
Are now and always will be
An important part of my life.
Things happen for a reason,
That's what we always say.
I think we've found each other
To fill an emptiness in our lives.
Now we will never feel alone,
empty, or unloved.
God has led us to each other
To fill the void we felt inside.
