Good Morning Happy Monday! I'm not sure if this is our last week with MSN, or if it's next week. I guess we'll know when we can't sign in anymore, cackle! I'm ready to hang at Shari's, I sure hope everyone joins in. She's posted the link, and we can keep posting it until y'all are there. Nothing like being pushy, hey Shari? Just smack me...I'm not trying to step on your toes, just trying to round up the troops. Ok...let's make it a great day. Hugs and happy ho-ho's to all. Good Morning,
Barb, Thank You for the signin.
I slept over 12 hours and this morning I am shaky, I think maybe it is because my muscles relaxed so much while sleeping. But I am taking it slow.
I love all of the photos that you posted. Thank you so much.
I hope everyone has a great day. The rain is here and they have been talking about us having it for about 4 days with possible tornadoes. But we so needed the rain.
Hugs and prayers for all. Jackie

Hello! Ya, I woke up to fog and gray this morning too. After all our days of sunshine and warmth it was a let down, but it's fine. 'Cept my head is all clogged up. I hate humidity, have I mentioned that before? lol. Not much new here, you all have a great day! |

Good afternoon. Sorry that I've been mia. Fri. I picked up Colton and we went to Walmart and McD. I babysat him til 11:15 p. m. Sat. afternoon, went to my granddaughter's birthday party and that night I went to a friends bd party. We didn't stay late since I was so tired. Sunday was a miserable day for me. The pain was so bad, I thought I was going to have to go to the er for a pain shot, but I weathered it out, finally my pain pills went into effect. I did sleep alot on Sun. I also received news that my SS disability was approved. I didn't even have to go to a hearing, cause of my good work record, my age, and my hearing. I do have to pay back some of the long term disability, just don't know how much. The long term will be reduced. I thought the long term would stop, but I thought wrong. lol I hope everyone has a great week. |

Good afternoon, friends. It's a rainy and humid day but still a good one because we need the rain. Last week John was asked to consider the ordained vocational diaconate. We both were asked to take the training for the Order of St. Luke, a worldwide interdenominational healing ministry. John and I talked this over all week last week and he has decided to go forward with the ordination process. Of course he won't have to complete the seminary training, as that was done years ago, but the process will still take about 18 months. In the meantime we will be traveling to several places to get the training we need for the St. Luke's training. I'm so excited for John. He has tried to get into the ordination process for over 10 years, only to be shot down by several people and committees. Anyway, that's our news! Hope you all have a wonderful day. |

Afternoon... It's raining here, also. Farther north it's ice, with warnings that it may come this far south, but so far it's rain. Melting the snow piles, sliding the snow off the garage roof, making puddles everywhere. Yahoo!! Rain! Not snow! Marion, I'm so excited for John and you, even if I don't fully understand the implications of this change. Yah, I can be a dufus, you betcha. I thought about your post last night and felt it had something to do with his ministry. Where will the traveling take you? What will be the end result after 18 months? Forgive me for my ignorance. I haven't done much today, but I've tried. My back just doesn't want to go back to where it was a couple weeks ago. Yesterday I thought for sure it was better, but today is another story. I'm walking crooked again and not moving well. Grrrrr.... I am so ready to walk outside. I may only walk a short time, I may only walk in circles on my property, but it sure as heck helps to keep me loose. Did I tell you that a pileated woodpecker was here visiting the other day? I was so excited, I haven't seen any for so long. We used to have a pair that hung around. I have a picture that Liz took of a pileated, and some scenery around her area, I'll try to find them and post them under the memory thread. Cackle, I have so many that I've snagged! In the beginning it was how I put a face to a name, then it turned into a snagger's obsession! Ok, that's as long as I can sit for now. It's hokey pokey time. |

Congrats! Marion and John. I don't know what it means either, but it sounds good to me. I'm watching a man have an ultrasound on his prostate gland on tv. He is very relaxed and in no pain or embarassment. I wish all men could see this. It's on The Doctors. This is a great show. That's the news at this hour.. hee hee |

Well....I am sitting here grooving to Jeff Beck, thanks to that wonderful link Jackie posted. I will be tuning in to this often. Love the variety to choose from. So...I'm a snagger, in case you didn't know. Not just sigs and websets, photos too. I often look at them, remembering times in chat and other events. Once I started saving things, it quickly became a habit. I never really had a chance to do much with them except keep them organized in folders and use in my postings. Then...I had a chance to really help someone when Sandra lost all her stuff and I could email her some of the millions that I saved. I was as happy as she was, it made every minute of the time spent snagging worth it. With MSN closing groups, I've used the opportunity to go a bit crazy posting things from the past. Things to bring a smile, bring a tear, bring a laugh and trigger good memories. I did it here and on The Patio. Teeheehee...you just never know what I have stashed. |
