Shari, why don't you go see your mom
with your brother. If she's cheerful with
you and sad and crying with him, perhaps
seeing her together might give you an
idea of how she's really doing. Just
a suggestion. Be safe on your trip.
My mom tries to be cheerful on the
phone with me too, unless she's upset
with my sister. It's hard to understand
except to realize that she's been so
incredibly independent for so long that
I'm sure having Janice do so much for
her every day probably depresses her.
We got up and out early today. I needed
to have some things laminated and needed
to pick up some other things. I didn't
want to wait for all of the Saturday
Valentine's traffic.
