Morning everyone! (hugs, sweeties) Happy Sunday to all. Coffee ...coming right up, sit yourself down. I wish, I wish. It was so nice to see Meg pop in yesterday to say hello. I sure miss hearing from her and our other busy members. As soon as I win the lottery, we're all heading to New Zealand. Wouldn't Meg about chit if we all showed up to visit? Wouldn't that be the trip of a lifetime? I'll let you know when I win, cackle! I hope your day is a good one. Listen to a tune or hum one to yourself. Webset by ©Blaze | | | | | | |

Howdy one and all. We just got home from Rice Village and I'm tired! Maybe I'm getting too old for birthday weekends. LOL I've gotta say, I've been pretty spoiled this weekend. Tomorrow I have my oral surgery so not sure when I will be back online. Hopefully before MSN deletes us, but I can make no promises. HUGS TO ALL |

hey everyone, I am in Rice Lake. Mom is pretty sad. She sure was glad to see us. As we were to see her. She is just upset that this happened to her and upset her life. I told her she will heal from this and be better than new and she has to take it one day at a time. I sure hope she does. I wish this hadn't been Valentines weekend so we could have spent another day. More later, - Shari |

Evening all... Marion, I'm glad you had a day away before your surgery tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you, hoping your recovery is a short one. Shari, I'm sure your Mom was tickled to see you. No doubt, this has put a crimp in her lifestyle for a time. I had an ok day here...nothing special. Last night the family went out to dinner. Silly kids thought they could get in to a local steak place, figured it would be a short wait. I told them...on a normal Fri. or Sat. it's a wait, and Valentine Day is the worst. This place doesn't take reservations and the bar to wait in is tiny. Haha...but what do I know? I did convince them to call first - I told them I was not up to standing and waiting, if that was the case I would stay home and join in aother time. It was only a 2 hr. 45 min. wait, minimum. I suggested our local favorite Mexican place. No wait, good food, good drinks. They were paying, so I was determined to take advantage of the invite! A couple Cabo Wabo margs and a platter of food and yours truly was purring. Alec just finished making oatmeal cookies and they smell wonderful. He is bored and asked if he could, I helped him get organized and let him at it...he did great. He's taking Life Sciences (Home Ec) this semester and said if I sign something stating that he made these on his own, he gets extra credit. I remember how proud Taylor was when she first started baking things on her own. By the time she got to Home Ec, she could teach the others how to do it properly. Alec told me that he's the only one who knows how to wash dishes properly. (you're welcome, Alec) I'm off to eat cookies. Enjoy your evening! |
