Good Evening.  I just got home from a trip to Charles City to get our taxes done.  Praise the Lord we are going to be able to deduct at least a part of what we lost on the sale of our house because of the flood.

Am sitting at work. Got here in the dark, and will leave in the dark. I sure hope it was a nice day for someone.

 

NOT complaining. The overtime will pay for something. Probably my crown work next week. Thinking of Marion at about this time.

How nice to see Becky and Lynn check in, thanks guys.  Always good to see your posts.

 

Becky, that's good news that you can deduct some of your losses.  Every little bit helps.  How did things in Charles City look?  Did you stop in at Aroma's?  I can almost smell it up here....   Do you have anything special planned for your birthday tomorrow?  Dinner out?  As for my back and head, they're both doing better.

 

Lynn, crown work - ugh.  I need to catch up with you.  I never heard what the ortho doc said, if you're totally healed, if the bike is repaired. 

 

My son needed his Mommy today.  It seems he locked his keys in his car at work and needed Mommy to run the spare set to him.  Of course, Mommy did that.  Mommy also made a comment about what a lucky little boy he was to have a spare set and a Mommy that could bring them to him.  I then said, poor Mommy, if this happens to her she's in trouble.  Somebody lost her spare set and never replaced them.  My son knows when I'm that sarcastic, I'm pissed.  I will remain pissed and sarcastic until he replaces them.  Sooner or later he will tire of hearing me speak about it.  Pffft...rip lipping time.

 

Jackie, I hope today was a restful one.  I'm worried about Dee and her pnuemonia, worried about Carol who has been missing too long.  My emails keep bouncing back.

Shari, how are you doing today?  I'll be a regular at your site, I promise.  I've just been in a funk and haven't really done much with new groups yet, but I will.  As soon as the weather allows me outside I start perking up and posting more.  It's just the winter blahs, I still have so much to be thankful for.

 

I swear it was John Morris who got me hooked on Bill O'Reilley...I used to catch his show off and on, but, while visiting with Marion and John I watched it on a regular basis and now watch it almost every night.  I like that it airs twice a night, I often catch it later on.  I almost ordered a No Pinheads Allowed doormat to ship to friends in Deer Park, cackle.  I knew John would laugh and Marion would snort....teehee.
