I'm feeling better, and can actually get

away from the kleenexes for a bit. lol

I feel so bad about Diana. It sure brings

back some awful memories. I had hoped that

even though he was under hospise care he'd pull

through, though that is very rare. My dad pulled

through the first time he was under hospise care.

We got to keep him 3 yrs. longer than we should have.

Everyone but his kids were shocked that he made it

through. Dad was even shocked. He thought he

was passing on, so asked Tammy if she would be

a pall bearer for him, since one of my nephews

had passed on. It didn't set well with my sister,

or the other granddaughters, but we didn't care.

Geez, I'm morbid today. Sorry!

So sorry it has taken me so long to check in, but today has been a real bummer painwise.  I just needed to chill out and try to keep ice on my face, which I did most of the day.

 

I need to do some cooking tomorrow for a mardi gras party tomorrow night.  Food has not been something I've wanted to even think about this week, but needed to eat something with all of the pain meds.  My food of choice has been sherbet.  Makes my mouth feel a little better and takes the nasty taste out of my mouth.  Now I know why food and wine tasters use it to cleanse the pallet.
