It's always a good precautionary measure to duplicate (shift + D) and close your original tube after you have opened it in PSP. This way if you accidently save changes to a tube or mistakenly change the file name, you haven't lost your tube so you can use it for another project..
You will sometimes see a copyright attached to your tube like the example I have used below.
Looking at your layer pallette located at the bottom right of your PSP screen, you will observe two raster layer "boxes" labeled Raster 2 and Raster 1.
Normally the copyright text is in the top Raster layer 2. If you place your mouse over the raster layer box, a mini screenshot of your image will pop up so you can view what is on the raster layer.
With a left click of your mouse, click on the "eye" sketch located to the right of your raster layer box and a red "X" will appear. When you look at the image of your tube, you wlll see that the copyright text has been hidden from your view.
Now left click on the raster layer box containing your tube to highlight it. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer on your new background image. Resize to specifications or as instructed. You should only see your tube without the copyright information.
After you have finished your tag, go back to your tube. If the red "X" is still checked on your copyright info, uncheck it by simply clicking on the eye image again and the copyright text will reappear on your tube.
This time hide your image layer by clicking on the "eye" and highlight the raster layer containing the copyright information. You should now only be able to see your copyright text on your tube.
I normally resize the copyright text before pasting it in my tag but you can do it either way. I try resizing it by 50% first, then go smaller if it's still larger than I want it. You want the copyright to be readable without taking away from your tag.
If you chose to resize the information after you have copied and pasted the copyright as a new layer, don't bother placing it where you want it until after resizing because it will automatically move the text back to the center of your tag.
