I work part time at the local school library and I got talked into taking 2 of the ferrets to school for a visit So today I took Mo and Ozzy to the school. I regret taking Ozzy because every time I said his name at least 4 kids would yell out Aussie, Aussie,Aussie OI, OI, OI All the kids were pretty good the ones that started off hating ferrets loved them by the end of the class and those who were terrified of them were sitting patting Mo by the end. Both the ferrets behaved very well neither of them bit, pooped or did anything embarrassing. Mo did think that the R1 library bags were a brilliant place to investigate so I had all the R1's trying to coax Mo into their book bags Mo thought it was pretty good . Mo had his photo taken with just about ever kid in the school, He is a lot cuddlier than Ozzy but Ozzy got lots of attention and was a star when he climbed on top of the travel crate, apparently he is quite cool for being able to do that
I got asked some questions that made me just about laugh my a$$ off. I especially liked the do they lay eggs question By the last lesson both the boys were really tired and Mo fell asleep on the floor with 3 kits patting him. The librarian just about had a heart attack when Mo tried to climb up the inside of her pants me being the caring and considerate person that I am Laughed my a$$ off.
All in all it was a good day. I did get asked if I could bring one of the snakes next time. Matt and I have entered into negotiations about that
