Jasmine, Princess, and Ozzy came home today. Albino male (jasmine) app 1 1/2 yrs old, Sable male (gonna check tomorrow, he's kinda small) Princess, also app 1 1/2 yrs old, and Ozzy, sable male app 6 yrs old.

Went and met the family that were giving them away. They all seem in good health, in desperate need of a nail trimming.

The trip started about 10:30 this morning, and ended about 6pm this evening. I'll give more details tomorrow. Everyone made it safe and sound (asleep).

When we picked up our babies yesterday, it was quite the experience. The little girl who cared for them was very heartbroken about them leaving, but was being very grown up about it. We spent some time in the house with them to feel out how everyone interacted, and all was good.
Then, right as we were pulling out of the driveway, the mother yelled for us to stop. The daughter was going to send along the fourth ferret, who is about 8-9months old, to keep the business together. We spent about half an hour on the lawn with them talking about it. Letting her know it was a very grown up decision, and that with the fourth being so young, she might adapt to being a sole ferret well, but to watch for the warning signs that she is heartbroken. We have all exchanged phone numbers/emails and are ready to take the fourth into our home if its necessary.
Last night they got to explore the house a bit. First one at a time, then two at a time. (Ozzy was sleeping)
This morning all 3 got to explore freely, though I am watching them pretty close to see where else I need to ferret proof.
Today my main project is to install cabinet locks in our kitchen, and to partially design a second caged area and prep to make the parts.

One naming issue solved....

Jasmine has had his name changed to Jazzman. (same pronunciation) Its a little more fitting for him, lol.
