Well, when I'm making things like stew, spaghetti sauce, etc...I like to "taste" when I go and stir.  Well, sometimes those "tastes" can add up.  So, what I've done..as I did just tonight in fact, is I cut up some celery or cucumber.  Then, when I go stir the pot...I take a piece of vegetable and eat THAT while I'm stirring.  It works sometimes....when I remember to cut the vegetables.  :-)

Hey eating one quater of an entire cucumber is only 11 calories and half a carrot is about 25-30 calories.

Eating veggies while cooking may well save her 100+ calories which can lead to a loss of a little more than a half pound of fat in one week!

Another similar trick is to chew gum if you are a stove-top nibbler. However, I find that, for me, gum makes me hungry, so I can't use this tip.

Take it from me, this veggie trick will not only simply help trim the waist-line but it will also help to acquire all those phytochemicals and fresh vitamins and minerals most of us forget to include in our diet.
