Why is it?....some observations for the young & old Chicks on the board.....m
Why is it that as I lost weight my boobs fell out the bottom instead of popping jauntily over the top of my bra?
Why is it that as I lost weight my calves looked like I had leg warmers on?
Why is it that as I lost weight my belly started hitting me in the knees when I walked?
Why is it that as I lost weight I started sitting on something folded over on the chair...and it was my butt?
Why is it that as I lost weight it looked like Batman had returned if I put my arms over my head?
Why is it that as I lost weight I developed lizzard neck?
Why is it that as I lost weight I noticed parts of me that still shake when I am stopped suddenly?
Losing weight gives dragging your butt a whole new meaning!
These are things that I might have avoided if I had lost this weight years ago instead of waiting until I was 54 to start a plan that I wasn't going to give up on.
There are a lot of health issues that I might have avoided also if I had started sooner and not lost and regained and lost and regained.
Now don't get me wrong....a lot of this is meant to be humorous because it's so darn ridiculous and I don't know that some of these things won't correct themselves as time goes on. I don't really have to worry because most of it is covered by my clothes and if dh could love me at 400+ he just loves me...it doesn't matter to him!
This is just a little lesson for you younger chicks who think you have plenty of time to make this life change...and for those of you who keep starting and stopping....and those having a hard time...Beware the consequences of your actions or lack or action. It can come back to bite you in the butt in later years.
And for you older chicks who think it's not worth all the trouble...I HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE! AND I STILL HAVE 110 POUNDS TO GO!!
Life is strange!!!Just get in there and live it and whatever else you do, don't forget to DANCE!
