My cat Trooper is an outdoor cat unless the weather is severe. Lately he waits for me to come in here to the computer, then he hops on the window ledge and cries til I either let him in or go out and sit with him.
He has suddenly started wanting to sit in my lap. I keep thinking he must be hungry but that's not it, altho, sometimes he will eat more if I sit with him.
He is healthy. The vet cannot find anything wrong with him.
Has anyone ever had a lonesome cat? He is acting more like a dog. LOL :O)))) |

He isnt so bad anymore so he is just NoNo. He has recently started wanting lots of attention. Before he just wanted to be left alone. His new habits are, he watches litterly watches TV with us, wants to be petted alot, sleeps under our bed, even tries to follwo me to the bathroom, soon as we move in the morning waking up, he is on that bed wanting attention. I also have two indoor declawed cats, they are named Thelma and Louise as they are partners in crime. We got them when they were about 5 or 6 weeks old from the pound (they are litter mates) they will be 5 years old in November. Thelma has always been a lover and thinks she is a lap dog. But Louise had a broken paw when we adopted her and had such a bad cold and infection her eyes almost exploded and she is half blind now. Needless to say all of that made Louise people shy. She loves cat trees and HATES to be petted or touched. There would be days when I hadn't seen her for 24 hours or so and I would have to search the house for her, just to make sure she was still alive. Then my mother in law came for a visit last summer. And Louise would just follow her and sit on my inlaw's lap. We were all shocked as she had never done that in the 4 years we had had her. Then when my mil went home Louise decided she liked being petted and is always on my lap now. Who knows what changed for her, but she now is never more then 3 or 4 feet away from me. |
