Its been FOREVER since I've been in there *Smiles*... Then pop in here and see my name was surprising *smiles*... I'm still remembered (thats good :)
Good to see you here Gina. I got a email from Elle today and was so thrilled to see her. I actually needed that email from her. Alot going on but at the same time nothing is going on. Business has slowed down to "nothing" around here. My oldest son moved to South Carolina 2 years ago, my middle son moved to Jackson, MS. (3 1/2 hrs. of us) last year & opened a Sports Bar & Restaurant, my youngest son moved 6 months ago to Layfette, La. (3 1/2 hrs west of us). So no kids around us anymore. When they first moved away we heard from them all most everyday but over time they have settled in and its rare to hear anything anymore. Since our lives have taken a change we decided to make more changes. We put our home on the market afew weeks ago (I know)... smiles...
I just want alittle peace now days, to slow down alittle more everyday. Since the business is slow to take advantage of it and move, start something new. I was telling Elle that I actually stepped on the scales afew days ago which I haven't done is along time. LONG-TIME...
When I started with this group many years ago I was 258 lbs. I lost down to 211 lbs. When I got on them this week I was 250 lbs. I knew, but dreaded it for so long. But, I knew it was time to do it. I'm feeling the weight these days, tired, no energy, hurt in my back- my feet- ankles... But if I'm going to make so many new changes I knew this was one of them. I started working on my new plan 2 days ago and I've done good with it. I'm thinking that I've done good with it because I was ready for it, needed the change with this also. I'm sure there is more that has went on but this is the highlights of it all... smiles
I'm so glad to see you finally settled down and got you a home of your own. "Your own yard"... wooohoooo! Thats great grilfriend. Now you will be planting and gardening and investing in your own place. You are the only reason I got into gardening, I love it. But I have to say that I haven't touch anything in my yard this summer, haven't been in the mood. But I have to say that last year I called afew landscapers and ask for prices for something around my pool area. They all came in with prices of around $20,000.00... NOT!
Even thought I KNOW it would have looked better with them doing it, I decided to try it myself. I did it, it did cost alot, because I had 6 dump truck loads of dirt brought in, bought a ton of plants (still not enough), and bought 33 yards (hugh dump truck) of mulch, I worked my booty off (not really- its still here) LOL
here's a picture, give me a E- for EFFORT... LOL
Been missing you also, this room is so SLOW now... whats up?
I'll try to get myself to come in here more. I do miss everyone, and I need the support these days. Send prayers & thoughts my way for this house to sell soon so we can move on to the next chapter in our lives.
Miss you bunches...
smiles,
Chara
