But, I am now a proud mom of three..(ages 7, 5, and 3).  I graduated with my bachelors' degree in Health Information Administration, and am working towards that goal.  I am currently an OB/GYN coder.  Brian and I were finally married on June 7th.  (6-7-08)....I thought that would be the best way he could remember our anniversary.

Weight wise, I am at a point where there is so much stress...I don't honestly know how to get control.  My co-worker is set to have lab band surgery her by November, and boy...I am really thinking about it.  With the kids and life, I can't plan ahead...I am interested in hearing from people that have gone through this procedure.

Any-hooooo.....I am glad to be back..it is good to see some familar names!!  I feel like I am home again!

Thanks for having me back.

Sarah

Hi Sarah, Welcome. I have a good friend that had the lap band done in June. She is happy with it so far and says the hardest part is over (you have to be on liquids for a week or so). She is now back to eating regular foods, only tiny portions.

She lost 13 pounds the first two weeks but quickly slowed down to a pound a week. She seems quite happy with the results so far.

Best wishes. And Congratulations on getting your degree. A lot of work goes into it, I know.
