I just can NOT say enough good things about The Firm. I have used various Firm workouts for nearly 2 years and I lovethem!
 
These workouts combine aerobics with strength training (using 3, 5, 8 pound dumb bells to start). They really make you sweat and get your heartrate up. They are well orchestrated to shape your muscles and condition your heart.
 
I like that you can start using no weights and work your way up in poundage so the workouts don't become boring or obsolete.
 
I, also, like that there is not "whooping" or rah-rah cheering and yelling from any of the instructors- on any of the vids. I find those bubbly, overly cheery instructors annoying. The Firm has detailed, clear instructions including when to exhale and inhale for maximum health benefits and form "reminders".
 
The Firm Fannylifter has done wonders for my buttocks and thighs! It's truly amazing to see and feel the difference. The Fannylifter is a 2 part square step. The bottom step is 8 inches tall and the top one is 6 inches. The main use of the FannyLifter is to targe the area between your buttocks and your thigh, to firm it up and shape it. It also works your whole leg as you press up through your stationary heel and lower yourself down again. For maximum benefits, stack the 2 parts but you can still get benefits just using the 8 inche step if you have trouble with your knees. The FannyLifter is also used in many, creative ways in other parts of the workouts. It's an invaluable tool!
 
No matter where you are in your fitness journey, I highly recommend The Firm. I'm positive that you'll feel stronger, more confident, and lose inches in the process.

Zumba is a latin dance exercise video that is on infomercials.  It looks so fun!!  But, I got it, and it is the stupidest "workout" ever!!  It's just a little latin guy dancing around, nothing really organized about it, flirting with the skinny chicks around him.  And personally, I think he's probably more interested in their boyfriends if you get my drift :)  Definately do not waste your money.  It should never be considered a workout :)

I ordered The Body Flex Plus Video from E bay and it really works. It is great for anyone who has trouble with walking. It  comes with a video, gymbar and measuring tape. It is a based on your losing inches and toning by deep breathing. Suppling oxygen to the parts of the body you are exercising. It targets the face, neck, biceps, triceps, chest, sides, waist, upper & lower abs, and the buns and thighs.This is aerobic and you do a few exercises without the gymbar and then a few with the bar. It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes a day. I lost a total of 8 inches the first week. It is so simple. If you are looking for something that only takes a few minutes a day and you can do at home this is it.

Great book!, I'm sure some of you have heard of it or even read it. I just read it a week ago, and I think it makes a lot ofsense, if you don't follow the program or even enter the challenge!, at least read it, it's worth the time. I've found it at my local library, so I didn't have to buy it, but now, I think I am going to get it.

By Leslie Sansone. This is the one video I can never get sick of. It's walking in your home, no excuse video. From the 1 mile walk about 20 min, 2mile walk about 30 min and the 3mile walk 45min. Rubber Exercise Bands

I just bought one of these about a month ago.. It is GREAT!!  It has two "handles" that can be used for your hands or your feet.. to add 'tension' when I am doing exercises, I stand on the band closer to the handles, and get a tougher workout.
 
I love the fact that I can roll these into a bag and take them with me.  Plus I find that doing behind the head, overhead extension raises (for the flabby part of my arms) I get a really really great workout.. and my muscles really feel the workout too..
