Well....here's mine:

I started to loose weight October last year. My weigh was at his highest point: 246.91 pounds.
About a couple of years before i reached this point i got sick. Couldn't work anymore, had an afwul lot of pain in my legs. It took the doctors 2 yrs too diagnose it...a had a pain syndrome in my legs. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do, only painkillers everyday.
Couldn't walk very good, standing longer than 10 minutes was so painful i would faint.
So i got to sit a lot more than i used too...that was the beginning of my weight gain.
Begin october i decided i wanted to loose it all.....
I was very strict, only low fat food, lots and i really mean lots of water, trying to ride my hometrainer every day.
Still doing this, but when my body says now, i won't. And i give it it's rest because i know it needs it.
During these months i lost about 48 pounds and i'm still going.
Giving myself the time was the greatest gift i could give myself. Loosing weight doesn't come overnight!
My eating habbits are changed.....i'm still loosing weight, though slowly but i don't really care as long it's going.
One of my dear friends is severe obese, she's suffering from boulimia. The pain and the hurt she has is really terrible...i told myself...if you don't do something for yourself now, you will end up the same and you don't want that to happen.
Deep in my heart i so hope she will follow me, that i encouraged here to try to change it.
So.....that's about it.........
Hugs Nicolette
