Well this is the beginning of my journey.  I am not following any plan specifically, it's just a matter of portion control, exercise, and eating the right foods.  I am 28 and by my 30th birthday which is Nov. 16, 2006 I will weigh 150lbs.  That gives me 19 months to rid my body of the bitchy girl that lives with the nice girl inside of me.  Her time has come and now it's time for her to go.  I will need A LOT of help with this.  Money is tight, work is rough, and sometimes life just stinks.  But I really do think that I can do this.  I have a lot of resources at my finger tips that can help me stay focused.  Tomorrow I am going to the Dr.  I am going to get information on Gastric Bypass Surgery.  There is a 3-5 yr waiting list here in Ontario, so I am hoping that by the time it is my turn, I won't need to have surgery.  I am stronger then that, but I honestly can't go on living depressed about being FAT, yes I said it, it's really not a bad word, unless someone else tells me that I am!! Then it's a fighting word, lol!  I am not saying that being slim will make me a better person, but I want to know for the first time in 12 years what its like to not shop at a Fat Girl clothing store, what it's like to buy clothes at the good will or bargain shops.  I know that sounds funny, but try and find something nice to wear in plus sized fashion for a good price!!!!!  Once I lose my weight I can chase my dream of being a country singer, my voice compares to that of Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Reba.  I have an amazing boyfriend, a wonderful son, and the best friend that money can buy, lol love ya Kell!  I also have a great family, well some of them, others I want to lose weight just to prove to them that I could do it and no being skinny doesn't make me a better person!!!  Anyways this is my journey and I am looking for friends to join me along the way!!!
