I hope to lose 20 pounds by the end of May. I have lost 2 pounds since starting last Saturday. I've been eating 1500 calories a day. I write down everything I eat. I try to burn 150 calories a day doing cardio and I work on the ab ball and do weights. The challenge lies at night. I eat in my sleep. I have been trying to set out a baggie of cereal I have portioned to eat. Last night I did not do this and saw by my wrappers that I ate about 500 calories, so I have limited myself to 1,000 calories today. I had gotten down to 120 - I was really out of shape and still flabby. Then, during a separation from my husband, I started eating a lot and gained 20 pounds in a hurry. I started studying how much I eat and came to the conclusion that I eat about 3,000 calories a day and was yoyo-ing between 135 and 145 in a months time. I eat fruit and raw vegetables now and a lean cuisine for lunch and dinner. I allow myself chocolate as long as I keep it to 1500 calories a day. My problem is, once I start eating, I don't stop. I have been as high as 205 pounds and I know it's only a matter of a few short months for me to get there again if I eat unrestrained.
