The Show opened as all shows do before the camera starts rolling, which, is with a live performance of the American national anthem by a local performer. After that WallStreet came out to a very positive reception for the over crowded Fairfield YMCA in Onslow. He did a breif promo explaining the importance of the cause they've gathered for (Christmas For the Troops) and that after the Holidays the plan is to continue doing charity based shows. The next set of shows will be geared toward a Sean Hannity promoted "Families of Fallen Heros" charity for the families of those who have lost their providers tragically during the war. That drew a great response and a USA chant that WallStreet seemed very fond of. He then guest announced the opening contest.
Match One
Jared Johnson V.S. Duke Andrews
Duke Andrews started out over powering and out brawling Jared Johnson. For the first few minutes we saw a lot of big slams, a few dropped elbows, and a Gorilla press that led to a two count from Andrews to Johnson. However, When attempting a Snake Eyes on the corner turnbuckle, Johnson slid down his back, fell to a knee, and cut the big man off with an undetected low blow from behind. From there it was an onslaught of kicks and punches in the corner combined with a variety of rope chokes, and other dirty tactics over the larger Andrews. Eventually Andrews tried to regain control, and nearly had the thing in the bag as he took Johnson up for a powerbomb, but, much like Van Dam over Stryker at Stryking Gold, Johnson countered with an inadvertent Sun Set flip... Unlike Van Dam, Johnson took a hand full of tights to get the three.
Winner: Jared Johnson via Pinfall
Match Two
Joshua Stevens V.S. Terry Kenderson
It wasn't the show stealer of the night. Stevens seemed visably ill and Kenderson's been getting sloppy the last couple of shows, but, never the less the two attempted to put on a back and forth display. In the long run it was Joshua Stevens with a very high impact side slam.
Winner: Joshua Stevens by Pinfall
After the second bout Christian Michaels came out to a huge reaction. He cut a promo explaining the honor it is for him to get to go one on one with a child hood hero in Ricky Morton. This led Morton to come out and express that he has all the respect in the world for Michaels, but, has no intentions of giving him some childhood dream fullfilling moment by letting him get the big win over a legend. He stated Michaels may be a Tag Champion, but the Rock -N- Roll Express are Tag Legends and that's not something that ends when ya lose a belt. Michaels and Morton seemed ready to go.
Match Three
Kena Knowles V.S. Kathrine Storm
Kathrine looked impressive from the starting gate as she blindsided Kena from behind with a big forearm to the back while she was playing to the fans. The Bell sounded as Kathrine hammered her into the ropes, whipped her off, and dropped her hard with a clothesline. This drew a fast one count before Kathrine went back to putting the heat on. However, Kathrine slipped up when she telographed the Back Body Drop, providing Kena an oppertunity to counter with a big kick across the chest, and then a big arm drag take over. A second Arm drag take over... A Japanesse arm drag with a float over cover for a two. Kena started looking good as she beckoned for the fans to get behind her. She grabs Kathrine as she comes up and looks for a vertical suplex, but, Kathrine quickly grabs two fist fulls of Kena's hair, slamming her back. This seemed to cut off the offensive flurry from the mocha beauty. Storm proceeded to lay on some heavy heat and eventually picked up the win with reverse death vally driver she calls the "Serious Breakdown".
Winner: Kathrine Storm via Pinfall
