Our scene opens on the smirking face of Karla Kaos sitting in the women’s locker room of the WAR arena. Of course this being an ICWA development territory the locker room is pretty small but then so is the ladies roster. She leans her head back against the wall behind her, staring up at the ceiling, that smirk still plastered across her face. After a few silent seconds she returns her gaze to the camera and flutters her eyelids innocently.
“I’m sure Julie you’re quite flattered to be the first ever woman to wrestle me in a professional setting, it was looking unlikely that I’d ever even get a match on Hybrid TV. But last week management did the right thing and listened for a change. See last week Julie I gave WAR management an ultimatum. I told those useless sons of bitches that if I wasn’t put into a match this week that I would be personally requesting a transfer back to PLW in New York. I mean how much longer did they honestly think they could keep my talent under wraps? How long did David Van Dam think that he could hold be down? Well apparently the answer is 7 weeks and 2 days�?that’s a long time to be sat on the shelf waiting for your turn. Do you know what you’ve done in that time Julie?�?/FONT>
Karla crosses her right leg over the left and leans her elbow on top of her knee with a sigh.
“Well forgetting that the week before my debut in PLW you lost to Grace Taylor who by the way is now making waves in an indy company in Ohio why don’t I tell you? March 10th on Hybrid TV you beat remix Williams. A no good little skank who hasn’t done a THING for this company. She isn’t exactly tough competition now is she Julie, the woman is dumber than a room full of Hope Cassidy’s! The last time she cut a promo she made out like she was going to become the new WAR Ladies Champion and oh wait�?she beat Monica but um it was a non-title bout! Yeah good one Williams, try a little something called READING next time you prep for a match!�?/FONT>
Karla rolls her eyes with a chuckle.
“Oh and speaking of Monica and to continue on our journey through your in ring career�?March 17th she kicked your ass. Now we all know I care very little about Monica Swhear except for the fact that she’s holding something which belongs to me! Thing is though over recent weeks I’ve come to sympathise with her a little after the disappointing news that David Van Dam ditched her for a woman who will be eating her meals through a straw sometime within the next month or so. But I guess that’s up to David, I hope he enjoys his new career as home help taking care of an invalid�?still beats getting whooped by the Matt Matlock I guess. But listen to me going on about Monica and her ex�?I’m missing the point, I’m forgetting about the reason I’m here�?you.�?/FONT>
Karla smiles confidently as her green eyes twinkle.
“You are important in my life right now because you are the obstacle in my path. The ICWA have already told me they like my style they just can’t pass judgment on me just yet because they haven’t seen my in-ring work. Saturday that is all going to change and after I decimate you and put your pathetic ass out of action for good they will see what an incredible asset I will be to them. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it to Demented, to Wednesday nights live on the FX network. Just pray I let you escape with all your limbs intact�?I’ve been waiting a long time for this, I will NOT disappoint!�?/FONT>
Karla’s smile has been replaced by a very serious glare as she finishes her sentence. She stares for a few seconds then stands up and walks out of sight, leaving the shot to fade to black.
