The old WCW Nitro theme plays over the air waves as PLW Xplosion opens up from the PLW Center in Manhattan New York. It looks like we have close to 750 fans in the house tonight and they are all prime and stoked to be seeing another great PLW show.

The opening segment was Brock Austin vowing to spend 2007 the same way he spent the better part of 2006, ontop of the PLW Mountain. KK interrupted and suggested that Brock’s visit to the mountain top would conclude tonight via the Kamakazi Kaukasian.

This segment was relatively over.

Match 1

Nate Rupe V.S. Jerry "The Satellite Guy"
Winner: Jerry "The Satellite Guy"

Summery: This match really didn't draw much of a reaction. Maybe the crowd wasn't all there yet with it being the opening match, maybe the appeal just wasn't there, but it didn't do what the booker had hoped it would do. In the end Jerry picked up the pinfall after He delivered "Got R Finshed".... This contest was a 3 out of 10.

Match 2

J Fed (W/ Whitney Spears) V.S. Christopher Whatever
Winner: Christopher Boudreaux

Summery: This contest did relatively well as far as pertains to crowd reaction. Christopher seemed to get some pops initially just for the fact that J Fed’s over as a solid heel. But over the course of the contest as Chris got the opportunity to display his in ring skills the fans began getting solidly behind him. This bout received a 6 out of 10 over all.

*Commercial Break*

Match 3

Monica Swhear V.S. Laura Kai
Winner: Monica Swhear

Summery: The fans were relatively into the bout. Laura Kai and Monica Swhear both picked up some pops and got a good reaction on their high spots. Monica ended up picking up the win with the "Glorification". This contest got a 6 out of 10.

Aftermath: Layla Chae came down and delivered her finish on both women, letting them know who the dominate female in PLW is. She then told Kai she’d see her next week for the Women’s championship.

*Commercial Break*

Match 4

PLW North Eastern Championship
Orlando Turner V.S. Pat Warner
Winner: Orlando Turner

Summery: Turner managed to retain his North Eastern championship in a well done contest between two PLW veterans. This bout got a strong crowd reaction. An over all of 7 out of ten.

*Commercial Break*

Match 5

Triple Threat Match
Mr. Fabu V.S. Mark Hyatt V.S. Python
Winner: Python

Summery: The crowd was solidly behind Mark Hyatt initially, however the fans seem to really enjoy the image and gimmick of Python. Once he began working in the ring they enjoyed that old school, rough neck style. Both Hyatt and Python got quite a few pops and Fabu received his just heat. In the long run of the bout Python picked up the win with the "Pure Posion". This bout received a 7 out of 10.

Match 6

PLW Tag Team Title match
"Straight Line" V.S. "El Diablos"
Winner: Straight Line

Summery: A well worked tag team contest that the crowd really enjoyed. Straight Line worked a very classic, Minnesota Wrecking Crew style psychology. They Pick up the win when Rick Strait reached in and held down the free leg of Mandatory Demented while he was being pinned by Tom Ricter. This match was a 7 out of 10.

Main Event
PLW NYC Heavyweight Championship
Brock Austin V.S. Kamakazi Kaukasian
Winner: Brock Austin

Summery: The fans really loved this contest. It was a high powered brawl with few technical moves exchanged, but it was dramatic and well performed. In the long run Brock Austin retained his championship when he hit the Austin Bomb. This contest was an 8 out of 10.
