Usually, he tries to dominate the match the entire time. If his opponent is equal to him, he will keep the match at an even pace and look for mistakes. He will go move for move with his opponent then. If his opponent is bigger than him, he will utilize his quickness and speed more than trying to overpower his opponent. He will then try to keep the match going at a fast pace to wear down his opponent. Secondary Psychology: If he begins losing, he will be less offensive and will slip into a more methodical pace. He will try to see what he is doing wrong and will look for an open opportunity to hit a high impact move to shift the match back to his advantage. If that doesn't work, he will try to focus on a single body part of his opponent and try to disect him physically (usually a leg or an arm). Style: Technical Aggression/ Basically a mixture of moves that combine speedy, technical, and impactful moves to dominate the match (think of a balanced mix between Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) Coin Phrase(s): "And I'm still jockin on you." General Attitude: Calm and Collected/ Arrogant but knows his limits Absolute Do(s) and Don't(s): He usually keeps to himself a lot unless he knows someone real well or unless he's around girls. You usually don't find him clowning, unless he's clownin or makin fun of some other people. Other than that, he doesn't usually say much unless something needs to be said or unless he's getting pissed. Very sarcastic at times. Doesn't like big crowds usually. Of course, he wanted to follow his dreams and became a national recording artist but due to financial hardships, those plans got put on hold. Although, he is signed to an indy record label that still won't be enough to promote him to where he wants to be. One of the only other options was to pursue other careers as well. This lead him to wrestling. It was one of the easiest ways that he could make a living and still promote his music, thus he is now in ICWA. Detailed Entrance:
The lights dim down to a scarlet tone as the drum beat to the song comes in through the P.A. System. After a few seconds, the piano player on the left side of the stage starts playing the melody for "Amazing" as Kanye's voice starts to sing the first verse. After a few seconds, Darren steps from behind the entrance and comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Of course, he didn't really care what the fans were thinking at the moment. The only thing that was on his mind is his upcoming match. Obviously, the intense look on his face gives the impression that he is beyond ready for the match up. With each step of his somber strut to the ring, his confidence builds as he listens to Kanye say repeat the phrase "I'm Amazing" "So Amazing" "So Amazing." It's not cockyness, but confidence in his own abilities that defines his character. No impression of worry whatsoever was on Darren's face. With his gaze focused on the ring, he jumps up onto the ring side and stands there for a few seconds absorbing the message from the song. Darren finally enters between the ropes and waits for his music to die down as he jumps up and down in order to keep his focus on the task at hand. |
