I love edge's character and I don't know why. I expected it from him but I liked Taker as the champion more.

I think it was set up for taker to lose the belt but not too batista...

 

plus the reason for taker to win the belt was to add to his hall of fame resume and to make sure all the top stars from the wwf/wwe attitude era had the world title as well 

like Flippy said, both Kennedy and 'Taker have injuries, both arm ones from what I've heard. I think the real big problem was how fast they made the MITB move, even though it made logical sense.

Looks like Kennedy's injury isn't that bad. Only about 2 months. Taker will be out a long time though.
