February 1st.
Matt. 5:44~Bless them that curse you, do good
to them that hate you.
Today~Only by love and kindness can we conquer
the hatred and evil that lies in some people's hearts.
Do not let the rage of others infect your own spirit.
February 2nd.
Matt 24:35~Mark 13:31~Like 21:33~
Matt.24:35~Heaven and earth shall pass away
but My words shall not pass away.~Jesus.
Today~The words of Jesus are eternal and while
you may lose everything else in your world, the
precepts that He has laid down to govern man's
behavior shall prevail forever.
February 3rd.
Psalm 37:23~The steps of a good man are
ordered by the Lord; and He delighteth in
His way.
Today~When you have behave in a righteous
way, not only does it enrich your own spirit
but the Lord delights in your virtue.
February 4th.
Luke 14:13-14~When thou makest a feast,
call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the
blind; and thou shall be blessed, for they
cannot recompense thee.
Today~When you give to charity or in other
ways help those less fornunate than yourself
yo ucannot expect material rewards, but
the reward shall be in the Lord's blessing; for
by giving to others you enrich your own soul.
February 5th.
Prov. 16:7~When a man's ways please the Lord,
he maketh his enemies to be at peace with him.
Today~If you walk in the ways of the Lord and
do his biding, your behavior will even affect those
who wish you ill and turn their evil thoughts
aside from harming you.
