Christmas Comes Again
Christmas came again, this year
Christmas trees, smell of pine
red noses
mittens, hot apple cider
fragrance of Christmas
bread baking cinnamon.
The excitement of a child
at home
to get me out of bed
clean my house
decorate, Christmas shop
wrap gifts
To be enthusiast when I have
no entusiasm.
The enthusiam of a child
I was to old to bear
Tells me when I look nice
Tells me when I'm fat
Continually keeps me on the go.
I could easily just sit or sleep
but I can't
I have an obligation to a child
Look young and happy
And when they are ready to go
Be Ready.
