Life is confusing , mine at times unkind The family's fighting , listen to the screams. The 4 WALLS hear it, and never seem to mind. The walls listen when I'm alone, hearing all my dreams.
The times I spend alone , trying to understand. All I do is remember the good times I recall. Reflecting alone with a teddy in my hand. Sitting amid friendly walls , walls that heard it all.
A family that loves me , even when we fight. Children growing so fast we can't sit and talk. A husband who comes home late every night. Never a moment to hold hands or walk. So within 4 WALLS is where I stay. A MOTHER'S LAMENT to her dying day.

Loretta, Thank you for posting these again, I appreciate you leaving my poems here in this section, as I wasn't sure if they'd still be here since I haven't been on for a long time. I do still want to come in whenver i can and try to post some new ones for you. When ever I can get to the library. I have to wait a little while longer before i can get my new comp. As Somethings have come up in my health that have to dealt with first. I will be back as soon as I can. |
