Today I gave a number of dept mgrs a note detailing what happened yesterday, and asking for any time they could give me.  Some of them said they would.

Mgmt actually assigned our store workhorse to help me.  He did a great job.  The dept already looked a lot better, although the instock was still bad.  My good 3rd shifter was there last night, so that's why.  Too bad he's going on vacation now!

Anyway, after lunch another dept mgr was going to help me for awhile, but her asst mgr said I didn't need any more help.  The 2 folks who helped me this morning, were doing other things, so I was looking forward to having someone to work with.  I asked the mgr who started all this crap, and he made out like dept mgr's can't just decide to help out in other depts.

I know he thought I was overreacting, but I am afraid that tomorrow morning I will have a whole 'nother mess to deal with.

A good thing, we created two large pallets of GO items that will go up top, instead of clogging my bins.  They won't give me any markdown $ for the stuff, and I have no place on the sales floor to put it out, anyway.
