Another aspect of being "in the crosshairs," is that dept mgrs are being asked to do more, and more, because we have a hiring freeze on, and hours are short for almost everyone else.

Instead of copping a 'tude, I remind myself over and over, that I need to be grateful that our company is doing relatively well; and that they are still paying me to work full time.  I was asked to come in early yesterday and today, and I said "No problem."  instead for screwing up my face and saying "Ohhhhhhhhhh-kayyyyyyyyyyy, >sigh<."

like I used to.

My husband is on layoff nearly 6 months a year, but he gets unemployment.  If either one of us lost our job, it would be TOUGH.
