Love these guys. They have been becoming one of my muses of lately. They are just too good for my own good.
Korn
No! Not the vegetable. It's spel with a K and not a C. But cream style is my fave. Anywho, yeah...Korn is one of inspiration. They have some pretty good beats that just get my creative juices flowin'. Even if it's not what my charry is like.
Godsmack
Another awsome band [HOTT lead singer]. They too have the beats to gets my juices flowin'. And some of the lyrics just trigger my mind.
Finger Eleven
A lot of good slow songs to get the love or the depression, or the suicide out in my charry's.
Nine Inch Nails
Now this guys FN rock. For any mood or any story. If i can't get anything from the other guys then on goes NIN. Especially for the hard to get, sexy, seductive charrys. C'mon, is Closer not the dopest shit!
Marilyn Manson
Same as NIN. This guy has dope shiznit. If you wanna get the edgier side out, this is your man!
Rob Zombie
Although I said the others were the shiznit, this is the SHIZNIT KING! I love his corrupted, sadistic, just out of this world mind. C'mon Devil's Reject is the dopest show! I was listening to him a lot when I created Adrienne McMahon.

The Heroin Diaries inspired Ashley and Jeff to dig deeper into their Ajax, Nyx, Deron characters. Their lives on drugs, the feelings they had, and the addiction. It helped create the darker side of the three characters and rounded them out. |

The band Tool in general is inspirational for me because it has a dark, edgy approach on issues. Stay up late and listen to them- many ideas come to me.
Metallica
Metallica is the band with a lot of anger, and wanting to destroy yet at the same tim they scream for something more. But 'Fade to black' was inspirational for the dark, suicidal feelings that were in the character Deron Thomas years back. Tis the song I picked to write his suicide attempt to.
Wakin' Up Today- Burton Cummings
It's kinda an illusive song if you have the right imagination for it. It's an awakening from a cloud of drugs, sex, secrets. Although you wouldn't think it from listening to it- the song was inspiring as a wake up to me. Hell- all his songs are awakenings.
Cocaine- Eric Clapton
C'mon now- the basic drug that we deal with. haha. Cocaine is the drug of choice to most our characters here.
John Lennon"Nobody told me there'd be days like these..." We all have those days- and it inspired me to question how my characters would feel when dealing with rough situations in their lives. He has this "I've done wrong but wanna be right" vibe that I dig for inspiration.
Pantera
I love Pantera when I wanna be angry and have no regrets to kick ass. They have that style.
The Beatles:
If ever I need something melodic and completely out of ths world, they are the band of choice.
Other bands Ducky loves to get inspired by: Nine Inch Nails, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Slayer, Megadeth, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Pearl Jam, Skid Row...the list goes on. I may just end up listing my ipod. haha
