Hi ladies,
Its me lol,finally a day off to say hi an news as well,
Well work we are looking for an extra person now because 1 of our regulars are leaving for Australia and so that means more work for me and more morning shifts which I hate lol.
Untill another worker is found,anyway my car was fixed the CV joint in the rear but now the car rattles when I turn corners so the boss has to look at it again and fix it right at no charge.
MY kids are great 16 yr old is starting a Art and Design Course next week,so things are working out for her finally.
My pregnant daughter is great and my son is back on the good path lol.
How is everyone doing,good I hope.

Good morning... I will mimic Tigs ( PHEW) about the group as well. I hope the other site is better without problems we have exoerienced with MSN. Thanks Yvette for the quick responce to settle my nerves, lol. At least we all have contact in Facebook. Farmeress, you should join us in facebook as well, just in case! And Julie, and Sweet, and ..... Have great time Ann , lol andout the fish God, that is probably the case indeed! The heat and air guys just came and woke me, but that's OK. They told me that the filter I had put in was way too thick for the heater to properly cool off when it was done, therefore making the blower run far too long. I bought the allergen filters as they seem to trap so much more dirt and dust then those flimsy blue things, but he said that is what is recommended. He told me they make a fortune off those allergen filters because they cause so many problems.  Good luck getting your car fixed properly Lilbabs, and nice to see you stopping in with good news about your family. Keep on keeping on!! Looks like we are looking at a couple days worth of rain. THe wind has really picked up since I came home at 3 am, but it is warmer. I have to go get some supplies for the new center we have aquired since I suppose we will be keeping it. I wanted to make sure before i spent money on things like a vaccum and brooms and such. The vaccum there is totally non operational, which is why the carpets were a disaster when we arrived, but we have been transporting the one from Wallace with us every night we go to Warsaw, and that is a pain in itself ! There was NO broom at all, it's no wonder the previous cleaner could not do the job I still have yet to visit with Phillip. Lisa tells me he is so tired from loosing so much blood that he sleeps a lot. He's in a lot of pain, but the doctors tell her he is healing right on target. She has asked me about meals for him as he is on a health kick and she is not, lol. I told her about smoothies and she said she will try those. Last nights trip to work was not without incidents. We first came upon a rear end collision in which the paramedics had not even arrived yet. A man had some woman on the side of the road, presumably form the car that hit the other one, as it was the worst. The paramedics were coming up behind us as we came through the intersection so we kept on going quickly. Then as we got to the gas station, a car had been on fire. It was not at the pumps but parked in directly front of the store. A man had used a fire extinguisher before the fire trucks arrived and put it out. It was his whole wiring harness that burnt up. The inside of the car was so thick with smoke, and the gas attendant told Ken that the man who used his extinguisher on the other guys car, had driven off without paying for his gas. lol, I guess he had earned his gas by saving the building?? Speaking of gas, the darn accelerator had stuck on the rodeo as we were headed out to work, so we turned around and came to get Joe's truck. I think God did that so we would be running a few minutes later so we would miss that collision and also the fire at the gas station! Only by seconds as we got to both incidents just as the fire/paramedics were arriving! He does work in mysterious ways! So Tigs, has the Egyptian doc mentioned your new do? He may get the impression that it is for him, as he seems to be rather vain about himself. lol Well I am going to run off and check my other things, and get a tubby, ahhh hot water and bubbles, God does love me! Evening ladies What a busy day I have had. My day off and up before 7am so I could be a passenger as James drove to work then I brought the car back. It's a lovely car to drive...a bit short on power compared to mine but I suppose his is only an 1100 and mine a supercharged 1800! Bit more room in it though than mine and quite comfy to travel in as it doesn't have the sports suspension like mine does.  lol He's a good driver but sensible enough to know that having an escort till he gets used to the car is the best idea. On the way back I did a Tesco shop then stayed home long enough to have a late breakfast before travelling to the retail park near our offices and had a ball trying clothes on in the very large NEXT store, 10 items but only bought one!! Next stop was Boundary Mill and I tried on 13 items but only bought 2. I also got Wac a couple of shirts for his jollies and my Bro in law one for xmas. I came home and had a late lunch whilst waiting for Mother to ring to say whether it would be 3.30 or not when they needed picking up from Rochdale as she had text me earlier to say it was probably going to be about that time. Give me strength cos at 2.50pm I sent her a text to check if they were on schedule for 3.30....15 mins I waited no reply....so at 3.05 I rang her mobile and got the usual response "this vodaphone is switched off"!!!!!!! Grrrrr!!!!!! 5 mins later she rings the house phone and asks if I am still at home....was tempted to say no I've taken that phone out with me. So 3.10pm they are 20 mins early and they have reached their destination whilst I am still 12 miles away. Mother not happy and said they'd catch the bus! I was even less happy than them so I let them catch the bus!! I'd only offered to go collect them to save my poor Dad walking up the steep hill from the main road and it is very long and steep up to where they live, as he would get their car and then go back to the bottom and collect my mum and the suitcases. To say I'm a little naffed off with her is an understatement! When she comments tomorrow (if they call) she'll say she didn't have her phone on cos she wanted to save the battery cos she hadn't taken her charger with her. I GIVE UP!!!! It's the same every bloomin time. Hmm......how my Dad doesn't throttle her I'll never know cos I know I could quite easily do so many times. Breathe........count to 10............relax....thank you ladies for allowing me to vent. lol Then I went to collect James again but called in a craft place on the way but whilst I had a good look I didn't buy!"! James drove us home via a stretch of motorway as I wanted to take him to a garage to fill up where the petrol is now 94.9 a litre.....amazing. I've just had a gorgeous stir fry for my tea.....courgettes, red peppers, red onions, mushrooms, rice, qorn chicken and hoi sin sauce, god I love that stuff! Soooo tasty!  I'm quite tired but going to make the effort and do some stitching or cardmaking this evening. Red re Phillip and diet he needs plenty of iron and protein rich foods to replace that lost blood as quickly as possible. Hope he likes chicken.... Wow I guess your right Red about the reason why you had to turn back and avoided those 'incidents', thank goodness you did. Hi Lilbabs nice to see you and hear how things are. Take care. Evening ladies . And heres my news ... David was made redundant yesterday unfortunately but he is being paid his wages till January and is getting his redunducy money which is being paid in 3 separate lump sums .So we are gonna have to be a bit careful with what we spend just in case he can't find work ! .Only thing we are planning on buying is a new gas cooker I want a silver coloured one to go with the fridge freezer I got to replace the broken one . I've finished decorating my kitchen and pleased with how it looks and I even made 2 pairs of curtains for the windows in the kitchen I've got a really bad head cold at the moment sore throat and coughing etc hope it eases by Monday when I have to go back to work . Regarding this new Multiply site which I have joined and have migrated this group over to it but as far as I can see all its copied is the photo albums and doesn't move over all the messages boards over .Seems to be a lot of complaints from the site as it's nothing like the groups we have here .I am not impressed with it at all , but please join the site then go to Groups and find Ladies Take A Break with Us and see what you think for yourselves . |

Good morning,  Oh no, that is not a transfer, that is our group terminated and now we have facebook like Tigs said, I didn't even try to register there. I don't like it already. Frbruary will be a sad month for our group to be ending like that. Thank God we already have contacts in facebook/myspace, and our e- mails. Thanks for NOTHING MSN, as usual you have let us down Tigs, you have every right to rant about your Mom being like that. Not to even have her phone on knowing she is out and about, what is the point of having it? I always turn mine off when I gt to bed so noone wakes me earlier then I wake myself , but usually remember to turn it on promptly when waking. It's my right arm, lol Yes Phillip did loose a lot of blood Lisa said, which is why he is so drained of energy and sleeps so much. He is on iron tablets. Not sure what he is taking for the pain, but it doens't seem to work very well as he is miserable most of the time. Yvette, I hope you get your new stove to match yourfridge, I just love the stainless look. You'll need a special cleanser to keep it shiny, and it does show greasy fingerprints all too well, but so lovely when shined up. Terrible about David's job, I hope he is able to find one before his time on severance is up .Seems as though the economy there is nearly like ours. Many jobs every day being lost as I hear when I turn on the news. Took Bush 8 years to bring us down this far, thank God he CANNOT be elected again. I was so infuriated when he got voted in a second time. WHY oh WHY I can never figure. TO bail out the banks makes NO sense to me, if he bailed out the American household, that would in turn bail out the banks so to speak. THe man has his priorities a;ll screwed up if you ask me, but I see noone has, lol It's quite windy this morning. I looked out and my large palm had been blown over. Rained most of the night so everything is wet, but warm at least. It's fun to drive something different once in a while Tigs. I love driving Joes big truck, and he has an excellent stereo, lol. There is no music in my rodeo, which we have had to order the throttle cable for, so I am diving Joe's truck The place across the street is finally up for rent and it is very cheap compared to mine, I wondre if it is only 2 bdrms.? I have seen many people in and out looking at it. TIme I get some breakfast in my tummy. I think the bird and I will have oatmeal this morning. She has to eat everything I have, yet Ken told me she would not come out of her cage to eat off their plates while I was gone to Montana. Have a nice day |
