Morning LadiesYes, Red, I think putting your rugs on the line and really giving them a good thrashing certainly gets any "steam" out of your system  I haven't done that for ages, everything gets hoovered here now. Enjoy your shopping spree-there is nothing like a bit of retail therapy, I highly recommend it

Not that I can go and indulge at the moment, I am begining to think I am on "home detention" it's quite depressing, the pain in my knee never going away and the same old four walls

I wonder how long you will be able to hold out with those big cats eyes of Gabbies looking at you, and pleading to be let in Red

I think the group physio sounds so much nicer Tigs, than this one on one, it's too concentrated on me this way It would be good to be able to meet other people and compare notes, just to know others at three weeks are still at my stage etc: and when the others started to get pain free.

Oh here I go agin all about me

Sounds like Roberts orthopaedic consultant is the best there is Tigs, and he has certainly done very well for him.  Your solicitor also seems to know what he's doing too, and he sounds very fair.  Is there no way that Robert is entitled to  get the "dole" or a sickness benefit as after all if he wasn't  living at home how would he survive?

The weather to-day has not been good, Kim the little girl that is helping took Jasmine to the Mall where they had lunch and then to the library where they did some puzzles and read some books.  To-morrow they are going to see a movie, so that will be good.  Jasmine broke up from school yesterday, so now the summer holidays start

Nothing much to report from my end, same old, same old.  To-morrow I take the taxi again to go to physio There is a cafe just near there so I think I will hobble over and be amoungst people for a while and have lunch and coffee Actually there are a couple of shops with "nick nacks" in them, probably unusual Christmas presents, will go look.

At least one headach has been cleared up for me, friends will come and feed the cats for the ten days
Tracy comes up to  Taupo with us, Tracy will do it up 'till the 5th then they will do it  until Tracy gets back and takes over again.

Hello to everyone, hope all is well with you all and getting ready for Christmas isn't making you rush around too much

Enjoy your day ladies

Morning everyone sorry been away so long .Life here has been very hectic lately ! At the moment my house is a right mess due to the fact that David has been stripping the walls in the hall getting them ready to be Artexed tomorrowand Friday .We have a profesional coming in to do the artexing and I can't wait for it all to be done .I have waited for years to have it all looking nice so I'm really excited .Davids been also stripping paint from the stairs and the door frames with a heat gun and the smell has been awful plus Theres scraped off paint all over the house which is so hard to get rid of .I'm not sure what colour I want it painted yet but anything will be better then what it was thats for sure .
We now have wireless networking in the house so David let me have a laptop to go with it lol  I'm stilll getting used to it .
I had a really nice birthday thanks for all your birthday wishes .David and I went for a meal in a new Beefeater resturant that has opened here . I thought it was rather expensive there but I did enjoy the meal but it's not somewhere I would go very often ,Not with them prices lol .
Sorry to see you are still in pain Ann praying that it soon eases for you !
Tigs best of luck to Robert with his insurance claim I hope he gets the compensation he deserves after all he has been through .
I better go now and get myself ready for work have a good day to you all .

Hello girls,

Nice to catch up with you Yvette, glad you enjoyed your birthday dinner. Expensive makes it seem more special for you, we have places here that we use for special occassions as they are too expensive to enjoy daily.  I am not sure what artex is exactly but I am glad your excited about it. I am sure you will get us some pics when it is finished.  You didn't mention Charlie, hows he coming along with your family?

ANn I hope you do get to enjoy a luncheon out. I can understand your 4 walls boredom, although I am a homebody, I think HAVING to spend the time home would drive me insane, lol.  Anytime I HAVE to do something, I generally hate it.  Glad your getting a lot of help from friends an family.  Your Kim sounds like a godsend. Bless her heart.  We all could use a KIm in our lives, lol
Don't worry about (me) talk,  that is what we are interested in, how your getting along! Takes away form our daily grinds.

Your right about the rugs being very therapeutic. I should do it more often, lol.  The shopping trip was cut short as we had to come home early to run Ericka to her job. I did manage a couple things for my little nieces.  We told Ericka that she needs to get a public bus pass to be getting around, because noone here has a taxi liscense, lol I found out that they are getting mony deposits ona regular basis from their families,  I have yet to see them buy anything for here. They can walk to the places to eat and buy chips and sodas, but no money has been contributed to their share of gas/utilities/etc...I just think they have mixed priorities, and they need to be concentrating on buying a car then a place of their own.  I am not going to put up with their slack for much longer, as they do not lift a finger in the house either.  I must be a B**** to live with, lol

Gabby has a nice box, and I give her warm milk in the mornings, I cannot allow her to make me feel bad enough that I will let her in. I felt really bad before the box was made, but I know it is warm for her. I think she is just nosey, lol, she knows I have bird in here or something.  Maybe she is after fraidy cat Sabbath. lol

Chrissy stopped by last night and we had a good cry together talking about Michael. She is hurting so bad to miss her brother, he was her rock.  I wish I could do more, but pray for her is all I have.  I told her she needs to go back to work, it will help her focus on other things.

Tigs, I hope your day is going well.  LOL At Marks green bread.  Free pennicillan (sp) lol.  I didn't know those swords are illegal,  I don' t think they are here as you can buy them pretty openly.  I'll have to check about it, could be my excuse, lol

Farmeress, I hope your doing well, and can stop by with your news soon.

Julie, where ae you?  I hope your family is doing well. Still waiting for a pic of your new bundle of sunshine.

Later girls, have a blessed day.
