  1. If you hadn't been a nurse, what job would you have loved to do and why?

Hmmmm probably a teacher, for a while as a teenager I wasnt sure what I wanted . I was sure I wanted to nurse but always had my doubts so done my work experience with a teacher and that helped me make up my mind.

  1. Worst holiday nightmare....and why?

When I was about 26 my sister and Iwent to Salou for a girly fortnight , the hotel was shite, people were rude, food inedible and we had paid for full board, couldnt eat the stuff so spent a fortune eating out. My kids who were back home with Brian took ill, one ended up with concussion after a car accident and the other had gastroenteritis. It felt like everytime  I rang home there was nothing but trouble, i was never so glad to get home...

  1. Your worst kiss?  When, who and why?

First boyfriend at the age of 14, he was called Colin, I had gone for tea at his house, went up to his room after and he flung me back on the bed and rammed his tongue down my throat.....urghhhhhhhhhh

  1. Would you ever have the nerve to take part in a naughty game like "Strip Jack Naked"?

I wouldnt now but I have in the past but only with the man that was current in my life, and once in a group of four where the females cheated!!!

  1. What's the worst nightmare you can ever remember?

I used to have recurrent nightmares where I saw a plane crash and the nest day witnessed a stabbing in the back of the local fish van that came round...weird and wacky but had them at least once a week as a child until I was about 16 ...used to freak me out!!

Cheers Ang, they were a bit different!!!

1. Have you ever had to nurse a bloke you fancied like mad?

No Richard, I havent, I think it is the professional thingie that stops u fancying patients that is ingrained in my head, however we do look at them and say "he is a bit of alright".

2. If you had the chance to visit anywhere, where would it be?

God way too many and I will someday but top pf the list has to be the Indian ocean once they have an early warning system put in, Maldives, seychelles etc

3. Would you emigrate given the chance?

Funny you should ask that as we have been toying with the idea of emigrating to the West Indies, both Paul and I have fallen in love with it and I know for a fact in Barbados we can both walk into well paid jobs. He is game but I am the one with reservations due to the kids and their schooling at the moment, perhaps when they finish school I will get up and go!!!

4. Have you ever hosted Anne Summers parties?

Hosted them and ran them too, used to be an Ann Summers agent for about a year!!!

5. Have you ever smoked anything other than tobacco?

Yup, have done some dope in my time, but it only makes me sleepy and I miss all the fun, havent touched the stuff in about 4 years!!

Cheers Rab they were food for thought!!!

Oh god, here goes with intrepidation...

Whats the most embaressing condition you have come across in your career?

Working in A&E when a bloke came in with a sauce bottle stuck up his rectum.....arghhhhh

Is it true what I read in playboy?that doctors and nurses are continually at it in private sex parties?

If they are I missed it...damn!!!!!!!

I laughed the other day when I was shopping in tesco;s ?firstly though I was disappointed that with all the regulations and rules in place about wearing your work clothes out of the hospital that a nurse was happily buying a cucumber LOL?anyways sorry ?she was also wearing a black thong which was clearly visable through her whites..  what do you wear for work and why?

We are not allowed to wear uniform out of the hospital , because I work with immunosuppressed patients we do everything to minimise the risk of infection. So normal close to work and back and in work it is boring navy trousers and royal blue top so u can wear whatever u like under them and it depends how I feel that day, sometimes it is a thong and others it is normal knicks!!!

However as a student nurse we wore blue and white checked dresses and in the summer when it got too hot for tights ( it was compulsory to have legs covered) I used to wear suspenders and stockings as it was cooler....

What kind of relationship do you have with doctors in your work place?  I ask because sometimes the myth is nurses don’t like them because they precieve that doctors don’t value what they do.

I have a fab relationship with all but one of the docs in our place, from consultants down to regs ( we dont have any lower due to the type of work). They treat us with respect and they get it straight back, we are on first name terms with the majority of them and have even socialized with many of them ( no not at private sex parties..lol) .

When I started there was one who had to be put into her box, demanding I made her some tea and got her breakfast, she soon wised up when I politley told her it was the patients I was caring for not her and if she was making tea she could do me a coffee. She apologised I got my coffee and now we are best buds!!!

The one I dont get on with at the moment is a staff grade on a temp basis and he is rude to patients and staff, cant be doing with that!!

You have two sex toys?how much usage do they get?

God knew this would come out....one has no batteries at the mo so hasnt been used in a long time, the other only gets used when Paul is away a lot so maybe once every othermonth??

Cheers larry I enjoyed them!!!
