dandelion syrup:
from Susun Weed's Healing Wise
1 qt dandelion flowers 1 quart water 2 lbs sugar 1/2 lemon
Put flowers and water in a pot, bring to a boil. Turn off heat, cover, and let sit overnight. Strain the liquid. Add sugar and sliced lemon, heat slowly, stirring occasionally, for several hours, until syrupy.
Makes a truly fabulous pancake syrup!! Tastes like summer in a bottle. |
