I led DJ and p returned a D after declarer ducked!
Should I have led my Ace club?

Jd looks right to me.

Leading aces against 6suit on average works out (can cost too).

Leading an Ace from A10xx against no trump not a good idea - partic when declarer has (supported) KQJ - you're giving awat a trick.

I gather declarer finessed a spade..and partner didnt find club switch. Unlucky...the better play for declarer was to go for drop of 10c because even if finesse succeeds the King sp unlikely to drop....

In other words, the first trick went DJ D2 D7 DA and then partner switched to a diamond when in with spade king?  I don't see how this can be right, unless you led from KJ109 or KJ109x in the first place?

Sorry Destiny I guess I wasnt detailed enough
Yes !Declarer won and finessed spade and P won with SK and led back a D
Some messageboards ago, there was a long thread on count and attitude etc where the big boys including Jo , Lorne Bruce ,Ian and Rusty(who is obsessed with coiunt and att:-)) and lets not forget Ross etc: where if you played  either the 2 spades or 7 spades it would signal p what to switch etc  Is this one of those situations?
