Hey, that's what we had for snack yesterday! Grapes and popcorn.

I'm finally up. I ended up getting a migraine before I had to take the kids to school. Plus, Timmy was up A LOT last night so he easily fell asleep once we dropped all the kids off at school (and I do mean all... even Delaney.) So, we both napped in my bed and just woke up 10 mins ago. So, a 2 hr nap. Yikes.

My head is still a little dizzy and my eyes are funny but I'm feeling MUCH better. I just hope I don't end up with another migraine.

I got out of bed faster cause I heard the phone ring. I believe it's the school's number but no message. So, now I'm a tad paranoid. What if one of the kids is sick? I'm wondering if there was no message left because maybe it was one of the daycare kids so they ended up calling their parent? (which should be the case... I don't want to watch sick kids.) I'm tempted to call back but with no message left, it seems kinda funny. Plus, what if it was for something else? I put my name down for volunteering.

I need to make a list though am realizing I really don't have much time. Ahhhh

-grocery shopping at Food Basics (if I do this, that'll screw up the rest of my afternoon... plus, I'm wanting to stick around until my phone is charged, just in case the school calls.)
-sweep/mop
-start dealing with the peaches... they are rotting in my van. yuck
-pick up living room
-vacuum living room
-tidy desk
-clean couches and any spills on carpet
-put away shoes
-finish dishes
-supper ???
-afternoon snack ???.... watermelon
-load into dryer
-shower?
-cut up watermelon
-empty backpacks
-home reading with EMily
-lay out clothes for tomorrow

I have a million more but that's a good start. I'm feeling kinda sick so maybe I'll look at eating some more and see if that's the issue. Then I'll do one or 2 chores before heading out to the grocery store.

augh, 1.5 hrs left and I've done nothing :(

I gotta get Timmy dressed and then we're heading to the store. I'm still feeling blah but I NEED to do this shopping. Then hopefully I'll have a bit of time to get ALL the food put away (i've been such a lazy butt in procrastinating on things so no wonder my house ends up snowballing REALLY quickly), get snack all prepared (and us ready for the park after school), deal with the laundry and maybe deal with the kitchen.

Taking a break cause I'm feeling woozy. Got the grocery shopping done but just barely. I had to skip some things and rush out of there at the end cause I was pukey. Thankfully I had my stock of plastic bags. yuck.

A friend stopped by. She's starting to sell Avon so I chatted with her, updated her on our situation, etc. I looove Avon. Sure, it means another thing for me to spend money on and I most likely do NOT need more beauty stuff until I use up what I have but maybe it's cause it brings back good memories.... coming home from schoool, seeing my mom's friend stopped by with a catalogue and eating snack while reading it. I always find good stocking stuffers for the girls though. They like having 'grown up' lipstick and they have this lip gloss on for just 1.99. I bought some a while ago and Emily took it on me! I love their roll-on soaps too and they have 4 different kinds. Woohoo! Christmas shopping here I come.

I've started on afternoon snack... packing it into my backpack. Gotta cut up this massive watermelon I have. It took me a good few minutes just to slice it in half. I started on the dishes too with Timmy's help (until he dipped a cup in the soapy water and drank some. yuck)

Gotta get the drinks ready and hope that the rain holds off. Gotta leave in 5 mins! ahh

Oh geez, I just got a message from the property management and they want to come by tomorrow at 2 to take pictures of the place. AUGH AUGH This is so they can rent it out again. yippee.

Timmy has been crying A LOT for the past hour and not much is helping. This will be a fun night.

Andrew has baseball and the girls are driving me nuts. Better get moving here. It'll be a looong night.

I've been procrastinating on regular stuff too.  When the house was really neat for those 2-3 months in late spring that was the key - regular routines and no procrastinating on anything - even something small like replacing the toilet paper.  It worked great for keeping things neat.  I was busy all the time though and still didn't manage to keep things clean and non-housework things like grocery shopping done.  It was definitely nice having a neat house though.  I wish I could get back to that!

I like Avon too - cheap stuff for stocking stuffers for my MIL.  This year will be so different.  I'm afraid to start shopping because I want to approach it differently.  I need to have tighter control on all the small stuff.  It seems so cheap to buy $2 or $5 stuff here and there but adds up so quickly.

So cute about Timmy helping with dishes.  Mine LOVED that at his age - or maybe a little older.  I had to secretly rewash everything but it kept them so happy.  They would flood the counters and floor.  No wonder my counters are so warped!

Can't you tell the property people that you have 3 small kids and a daycare center and need a little more notice?  It won't kill them to wait one extra day or come at a better time.  I would call them first thing in the morning and just say you have a child not sleeping, you're early pregnant and you need more time if they want decent pictures.  Or take pictures yourself and just move junk around as you go?  I would NOT be happy with less than one day's notice for something like that.  Sure they need to take pics but they know more than one day in advance so they could give you more notice too.  You are still paying the rent and it's still your home!

I napped all day.  I was SO tired.  I feel bad but I couldn't get up.  Even if I'd had an emergency or something I would probably have been half out of it.  So the house is still a mess.  And I ordered pizza for dinner - very bad!  I can be so lazy sometimes!  My period is here and I'm cramping bigtime and bloating and very tired.  There was a huge thunderstorm - very close and very loud - this morning at 8 and I fell asleep listening to that.  I need to get the kids ready for bed and stay up to take care of some things.  When Scott comes home tomorrow night the things I HAVE done will have much more impact if the house is not a mess around it.  I wrote down a few 5 minute jobs hoping that will inspire me to just knock them out, one after the other.  If I did that for an hour my house would be much more reasonable and more inspiring to finish up tomorrow.

I counted to 300 and got 9 done instead of just one.  Funny how much I put off doing simple things.  Going to bed now...

Good job!!! Man, that's sucky about your period. I figured that's what was up because of your name for today. lol

I think I will get Andrew to call and say come Thurs. instead of Wed. That'll give us an extra night. But, I'm still working my butt off. Things are coming together, slowly but surely. I just went through the girls' stuffed animals and have at least 10 to get rid of. Yay!! Mostly all that's left are Webkinz and one plus of those is that they are generally smaller than most typical stuffed animals.

I think we're kicking our fast food habit. Probably too early to tell but we're doing well. Yummy chicken stirfry and mushroom rice. It would have been really easy to eat out tonight. Heck, every night we can come up with an excuse to eat out.

Going to put a few more animals in the giveaway bag, bring up Timmy and bring up a small box for the girls' decorative things that I can pack away for the pictures and keep packed until after we move.
