my mom emailed that she would be doing yardwork tomorrow and that "your daddy refuses to let anyone help him in the yard but i won't."  so i guess that means she won't refuse my help and is her roundabout way of asking for help?  my parents rarely ask for help although somehow when my mom does it's always at a bad time for me.  i can't go over tomorrow - going to be at the school so i'm going to go work for a few hours over there this morning.  cutting down all those tons of flowers they put in this year.  i hope she doesn't ask for help next week - i would hate to say no because i'm working on my own house but i'm not going to forbid scott from making plans and then go out and do something else after he took the time off.

why it is always right before the holidays that she needs help?  they don't celebrate anything so it's not even a thought for them and they don't get all that's involved.  ack!

well i feel pretty good about what i got accomplished.  absolutely nothing here but a good bit at my parents'.  my mom wasn't home - i got there before 8 and just left and she wasn't home at all so hopefully it will be a good surprise to her.  she was out "saving the world" as my dad says sarcastically (door-to-door preaching).  my dad was working on ebay but stopped to show me what she was going to cut down.  he was surprised i was there.

oh i did get something accomplished here - i had to come home briefly around 11 to take a quick shower and put on something other than yardwork clothes because i forgot to give chane his meds.  so i ran to the school and snuck him his pill - i'm sure the school would freak if they knew.  his teacher was good about it altho i felt bad putting her in that position.  i apologized and she said "well you ARE his mom" but i still feel bad because she'd probably get in trouble if anyone knew.  i just signed in like i was volunteering, went to her class and told her why i was there, then she got chane and he came out in the hall and took his pill and went back in.  if i had told anyone in the office it was to give him meds they would probably have insisted on a doctor's note.  and if i'd tried to take him out to my car they would have given me a hard time.  easier to sneak!

back to what i accomplished - since i back here anyway i put the driveway debris, at least the stuff from the other day, into my van and threw it over the hill (i dumped it out of the garbage bag first) where i was throwing their yard waste.  so one chore half done on my list - i still have 3 bags at the top of the driveway to do.  i'll probably do the same with them tomorrow.

i need to look at my priorities and see what to do before the kids get home.  c has a 3:30 med check in gettysburg so we'll have to leave right off the bus and won't be home 'til at least 5.  we have to bake pumpkin pies together tonight which will be a bigger deal than me doing it since chane wants to do it mostly by himself meaning more work for me.  and scott is coming home -yay!  his flight leaves augusta at 2:20 and he'll be landing around 6.  so home around 8 i hope.  maybe earlier if baggage claim and the parking shuttle are quick.

Ah, it's all that fresh air!!

I've done nothing except thrown a pity party for myself.

Timmy and I just woke up from an hour nap so hopefully that'll keep me going for the rest of the day. I REALLY need to take care of renewing my cards since they actually expire today but I have no desire to do it and with only 1.5 hrs before I have to leave to get the kids, I'm not sure it's enough time.

We still haven't had lunch. My stomach is bothering me so it's hard to think of something to eat. There's some stuff I NEED to do so I think I'll put that in a list so that I just don't sit on my butt the rest of the day.

To Do:
-pick up winter stuff in living room
-clear dr table
-cut up potatoes and carrots for supper
-get popcorn ready for after school snack, cut up apples
-make lunch... white kraft dinner?
-tidy up kitchen/dr/front hall
-change Timmy
-leave for school around 2:55
-find Em's other shin pad

To Do:
-pick up winter stuff in living room... sorted it. There's a few things of Timmy's that are too small so I'll hold onto those since I really like them and if this baby is a boy, then good! I'm getting rid of about 7 things
-clear dr table
-cut up potatoes and carrots for supper
-get popcorn ready for after school snack, cut up apples
-make lunch... white kraft dinner?
-tidy up kitchen/dr/front hall
-change Timmy... still needs his pants on! lol
-leave for school around 2:55
-find Em's other shin pad... hiding behind a box to be returned

Ok, I've got about 1/2 hr before I have to suit us up. Going to work a bit more on the main floor and get aft. snack ready.

My driver's licence and health card expire today. Unfortunetly, I put it off today so I don't have time to do it. Now, I'll be paranoid to go tomorrow and hope I don't have to do some extra work. Augh, why did I put it off so long? Well, I partially know why. I got the notice before we moved and I didn't want to have to get the new cards only to have to do it again with a change of address. So, i waited until we moved and then moving stuff took over our life and I put it at the back of my mind.

I don't even know where I'm supposed to go for the health card! (I keep on typing healthy.) I need to do my health card ASAP or I'd have to pay out of pocket for the midwife, I believe. augh And, I need new pictures so that's why I have to do it in person.

Ack, I gotta go. I wanted to make a detour to get our mail which sucks cause it's not on the way to the school. There's so many mail boxes around us yet ours has to be the one not on our street! It's not too far but walking will add another 5 mins or so for my school travel time. Maybe more.

Ugh, my headache is coming back... I think it's sinus or medication related. I only skipped one day and decided to take one today because of my migraine episode (skipping 2 days in a row is what brought on the migraines, I'm thinking.) I can't afford to have a migraine tomorrow. Plus, I was already feeling kinda dizzy this morning so that can't be a good sign if I was going to skip it today as well.

Ok, enough typing! Off I go! Have a good night Joni! Not sure if I'll get on here again tonight and tomorrow, I'm hoping to be errand running my butt off. That'll mean taking care of procrastination items. yeehoo!!

GRRRR< I need to vent. I'm getting SO ticked at how messed up my house gets and how fast things break. Yes, I know I have kids so I dont' expect my house to be perfect but add in other kids, it seems to multiply the messes by 100x.

Today, they noticed a guy across the street in his house and they claimed he looked like a ghost. This was at snack time. Well, then it becomes a game, they hide behind the curtains, etc etc. Well, after a while of this going on and it becoming a little out of hand (and Maddie sorta flipped back in her chair... not hurting herself or anything) but denting the wall and making a nice cherry line), i told them go find something else to do.

Well, a parent comes so they take that opportunity to go back to spying. Now, I have a nice big crack and hole in my wall where my curtain rod holder was pulled out of the wall and now I have the whole world seeing into my house again. I'm beyond ticked. First, that was one of the only windows we actually had done, with curtains. Now I feel like we've taken steps back. augh No wonder I can't seem to get my house unpacked and looking better cause whatever I do, something else gets undone. Plus, now I have to live with the window like that for a while because the hole will need to be patched and dry before putting it back up. Plus, who knows when we'll get back to that.

AUHG AUGH AUGH AUGH And tell me, why is the $400 that I'm making now, worth the money, stress and wear and tear on my house?

Aww that's terrible!!  When my mom had a daycare the kids weren't allowed in most of the house.  Is there a way to do that with yours?  It would be hard I'm sure!

I can certainly relate about things getting messed up constantly.  I feel the same way.  And I feel like one day I would like new carpeting but I can't think when I could ever get new carpeting and not regret it right away.  Once the kiddos are teenagers, then they track in different stuff and think they can eat other places in the house - at least Erik did.  Then they have babies and you're right back to having small children around!  I'm also tired of everything always being a mess here and I'm not dealing with even 1/4 of what you are.

I figured the card thing was a daycare thing and was a bunch of paperwork you needed to do.  I didn't know you meant driver's license and health cards.  Healthcare is different here - it sounds odd to me that your card expires since we have private health insurance that's deducted out of Scott's pay and my card is 15 years old!  Actually I just requested a new one be mailed to me this year from Blue Cross because the old one was so filthy that the new scanners some doctors have had trouble reading it.  Is it possible you have until the end of the month to get your DL renewed?  I am asking because I thought mine expired on my birthday but here in PA we actually have until the end of the month, they just don't tell you.  That's different in every state though, let alone another country!  I hope it goes easy for you!

Have you been telling the doctor who prescribes your meds about the problems you have?  With those kinds of meds and those kinds of issues and especially with being pregnant you should be monitored more closely.  There may even be a nutrient you could be missing that would help.  When I was on Adderall (ADD meds), I got excruciating headaches because they depleted my magnesium.  It's possible going off your meds is upsetting a nutritional balance especially with your special nutritional needs right now.  Although I can't think how going OFF a med could deplete your body but maybe it's just getting changing a ratio.  I have never heard of someone having the problems you're having going off of antidepressants.  The only problems I ever experience are the depression returning.

Good luck with your procrastination items.  Yay Scott just texted that his plane landed.  I will be in the school most of tomorrow.  We have the pumpkin pies in the oven right now - since we had to make two it was kind of fun - I got out two of each utensil and bowl and I made mine while Chane made his so he got to make an entire pie.  He was so proud.  I got him a chef hat for Christmas - he is really into baking.  I think it mostly appeals to him because it's something he can do with me and I keep telling him he's so good at it so he likes to say he's the family baker.  Maybe I could send him up to you for lessons, Sara?  You could keep him, oh, maybe 6 months to a year so he could learn all your tricks? hee hee  j/k He's draining but I'd miss the little guy!  Good luck tomorrow - get your cards, you'll feel better!!
