I like your idea of trying a new habit a month.  Since it seems to fizzle out, let's try to remind each other.  Want to post the whole year here and we'll try to make a conscious effort to remind each other?  I also want to declutter this January as usual but I don't want that to be my new habit.  My new habit that I will consciously think of every day in January is to try not to put anything on the floor and to remind my family not to do put anything on the floor.  Other than their feet or chair legs!

A friend came up with the plan to do one a month many years ago and it worked for me though I think I only made it to March. lol But, bed making stuck with me for a looong time. I think I need to put a sticker or star on a calendar to remind me that I did it that day as well. A visual reminder is always good :)
 
Well, I'm going to cheat a bit. Doing one small habit a month seems soooo painstakingly slow. So, the 4 things I listed, I'm going to try but my main focus will be dishes before bed. I like the idea of making up a list for the whole year. I know starting in May, providing all goes well with the birth, baby, etc, I'd like to get back into exercising and make that a habit.
 
Ok, dh is wanting on the computer to do some work and I should get my butt moving. Gotta do some chores and stuff. I had a nap at 7ish which was dumb but I couldn't keep my eyes open so I'll likely be up late.
