I need a break but feel like I'm really wasting the day if I take one. Do I take one now and then have too-hectic days coming up? So instead of taking a real break with eggnog and a magazine, I'm going to putter in our bedroom for awhile. I didn't do the 25 thing pickup in there and am not going to but am going to just putter around. Took up a bunch of gifts. Did 8 things in the kitchen and took a shower. I had pictured several overwhelming hours in the kitchen scrubbing it from top to bottom but doing it a few things at a time should work too without the headache. It might not feel the same with that satisfied "ahhh" tonight when I'm worn out but done, but everything should still be sparkling the same, even if it's a couple of days from now!
Need a soda but we're out :-( Scott bought some but accidentally left them in his car.
When I come back around 3 or so, I will have:
straightened our bedroom a little
picked up the kids
went thru their backpacks (which I didn't do yesterday and which caused major drama this morning)
piled more gifts in our room
