We're only supposed to get rain but just in case I got my running done this morning and I'll stop and get lettuce and whatever other fresh food I left off when I went grocery shopping the other day.  Sounds like a bad storm system coming down through the Northeast.

 

I'm going to pretend I'm cleaning for a client today.  Although my client is very messy and did not prepare for me grrrrr.  I should charge her extra for all this clutter and not getting ready for me!!!

 

So I'm going to work from 9:30 'til about 1 doing that and then I'll look at the rest of my list.  I'm not vacuuming today other than the floors I want to handwash or mop, so I should definitely be able to get the dusting, windexing, bathrooms, hard floors, and whatever needs to be done in the kitchen done by 1 if I start right away and work like I'm on a job and don't get distracted.  I just have to keep reminding myself about how nice it will feel  on Wednesday to be able to do "tweaky" things like gluing new lemonheads on the gingerbread house or possibly putting in a cobblestone street on the village as a surprise to the kids!  Or possibly meet dh and the kids after their movie to do a last minute little dollar store trip like I did one year on Christmas Eve and they were thrilled.
