Sorry just saw my email from Domino's pizza for 2-for-Tuesday so thought I'd title the post that.  No other reason! lol

Weird day here.  B is pretty sick.  Needed to get my car inspected and also a two-hour school delay so I asked my parents if they'd meet me at the car place so I could borrow their truck to take B to doctor.  Well after I dropped off C at school I heard this little beep noise from my van and it locked itself!  I'm assuming it got a signal from someone else's clicker or something.  Called my mom but my dad already left and they don't use cell phones.  So I knew he'd be at the car place waiting for me to show up.  Luckily it isn't too far from the school and I wore a coat and gloves for once (many times I just wear a sweatshirt over a pajama top).  Also luckily there are sidewalks all the way there but I did manage to re-twist my ankle that's already messed up.  So I walked in the snow (normal for you, a big deal for me!) and we had to go to my house, get the extra key, get the van, drop it off at the car place, I took my dad home, went back and got Braeden and managed to get to the dr only 15 minutes late - I called and they were okay with me being late.  His strep test was negative - I think he has what I"ve had for over 3 weeks now.  Plus his stomach really hurt so it sounds like something else with it too.

Oh and once I had my dad's truck, I almost wrecked it twice in the snow - I kept wondering why it was so o ut of control and realized that the floor mat was caught on the gas pedal just enough to make it go too fast so even while I was hitting the brakes the gas pedal was being pressed too.  that would have totally sucked to wreck their truck!  And we got back from the dr and I realized B had locked the house up when he left - I have no key - but I got lucky again and the door wasn't all the way shut.  Considering I have my parents' key from last time it was locked and the key is inside I couldn't even have been rescued by them.  We w ould have had to go sit at their house all day with him sick.

They are insepcting the van today and once we know how much work it will need to pass we'll know whether we're going to sell it outright or trade it in tomorrow on our new car.  Scott wants to sell it outright and take a $2,000 loss, I'm leaning towards trading it in for a $4,000 loss which would suck but we'd be rid of her and who knows if we'd actually be able to sell it outright.  Especially before something goes wrong like the transmission or something that we'd have to put more money into her.

Okay they  just called just this minute - $250 to pass inspection and another $450 for brakes very soon even though they'll pass soon.  So we need to make a decision!

My house is destroyed and gross. I'm on here hoping to get motivated to clean.  I would really like to have a clean house if we have a snow day tomorrow.  I hate when it bleak and cold and dreary PLUS dirty on a snow day.  But I don't have a ton of energy.  I think I'll just putter.  Braeden is being pretty good but a tiny bit needy but nothing like a younger child would be.  I jsut feel like if he says he wants soda or soup I should run and get it even though he's not feeling so bad, just so his memory of being sick is his mommy taking care of him, you know what I mean?
