Chane's favorite thing to do at age 4 was to put cars in ooblek.  He could easily do that for 3-5 hours straight in front of the tv.  He probably could have done it for 3 hours without the tv actually.  He still loves that.  It's a shame it's so messy but to trade for 3 hours of nonstop no-guilt playtime for him it was worth cleaning it up afterward.  He would still do it but now he can play so many other things alone I always hesitate to get it out although I probably should since he's become such an electronic addict.  Even when I take away video stuff though, he will go to his room and build legos for hours.  Or play with cars.  Come to think of it, most of the stuff he does involves cars - the legos are usually cars, the ooblek always involved cars and when he plays with moon sand or playdoh or in the sandbox it's always about cars sinking or crashing when the bridges collapse etc.  Do you have a bunch of little cars?  They are a cheap investment for little boys!  Those and monster trucks.

My neck has been crunchy all day - every time I feel a little pain, I roll my neck and have so far warded off the headache.  I do think a chiropractor would help.  I don't think my insurance covers them but I should check.  I know yesterday morning I was in so  much pain I was just fantasizing about going to a chiropractor.  I will keep my orthopedic apptmt first and see what he says - some orthopedists do adjustments too like a chiropractor so I'll see if that will work.  I don't know if this is accident-related but I'm assuming it is for now since I had pain in my neck immediately after the accident.  I need to check with my car insurance to see if the medical coverage covers a chiropractor too -I hadn't thought of the fact that I'd be using auto insurance and not health insurance.

Fast food and treats are my problem too - well, at least usually but now I am constantly eating out of boredom.  For some reason I care about nothing right now and eat to fill my time.  I weighed in today and it was 4 lbs more than the scale at the dr but I ate a huge lunch and drank a 32 oz diet soda right before I weighed in so that accounts for some.  I always do that when I start a diet so that my first week will be a huge "whoosh" of weight loss.  After that, it's all honest but the big first week helps motivate me!  More mind games...

I'm sorry you're sick again.  Did you get the stomach virus you were afraid of the other day or was it just heartburn?  Scott threw up last night but he ate a huge slice of pie right before bed.  I just remembered that he threw up - I forgot to ask him about it this morning.  I remember asking him what was wrong and him saying I threw up but it's not a big deal so I guess he could tell it wasn't a virus.  He hates to throw up though, poor guy.

I'll be back with a list - if you're around, want to drill?
