I think I'm going to spend the first half of this week NOT focusing on Christmas. I may even outlaw any Christmas doings for a day or two so I can stay focused on other things that need to be done. Laundry, bills, cleaning, etc.

Oops forgot to bring my handwritten list downstairs. Well at least I'll post this part and do the rest later. Cleaning job all day today and need to shower and start dinner. Had no time to do morning routine this AM thanks to cranky uncooperative CC while trying to get ready to go to my job so I need to catch up somewhat (altho we have been keeping the 1st level company ready so it's not bad, just need to unload the dw and clean up whatever messes I made getting out of her this AM).

RULES FOR THIS WEEK!!!

No computer use except for essential emails, quicken, tfcu, christmas orders, or to do list.
I MUST do everything scheduled for each day on the day it's scheduled. Not late! And not early either! I will remember that I scheduled things in this order FOR A REASON. I can only move things around if it becomes necessary to do something early because of an outside reason. NOT just because I feel like it.
Other things that come up can be taken care of, but the list items must still be done.
I can only move things to the next day if it's extremely late at night, I'm sick or one of the kids is, or if something big comes up.

Just wanted to say hi Joni! You're doing awesome!! I've been working away at my lists but not getting too much done :( Still feeling really wiped and sick after supper is done because of the pregnancy and doing daycare. And, I can't get much done during the day with the kids here, or at least I choose not to because I'd feel too bad though this week, all guilt is going out the window. lol I WILL get my stuff done and NOT leave it til the very last second.

I've been writing little vents/updates on my life in my lists so if you ever have a computer day after Christmas, have fun sorting. lol :P Nah, I don't really expect people to read it. It's more of a venting thing for me and I feel much better writing it out.

Anyway, Merry Christmas and hope you have a great week!! I gotta get a move on here because I haven't taken much off my list today.

Joni I really like your plan and I think I should adopt it as my own! I am now in panic / no, no I shall not panic mode. I am going to make a list. Really. But first I need to catch up on essentials like dishes ! And getting dinner made earlier! I shall focus on positives! Like I got MIL's gift mailed today (homemade by Kate card/pics of kids and cheque).

Play Santa with kids - Levitskys, Kellenbenzes, Heavels, Mr. Lew, Miss Renee
Take kids to Mom's (woohoo!!!)
200-pickup
Put away our laundry including hanging stuff - don't worry about putting away kids' laundry or whites right now
Wash/dry bleach load
Finish up bedding from this morning
Sort out groceries and put by steps (maybe hold off 'til tomorrow on this?)
Add "thank you notes to teachers" to list
Clean out and run Josh
Start "after Christmas" to do list: donna's card, acknowledge all Christmas cards
Call again about lamictal
Hide box and xxx from Scott
Dinner: macaroni & beef, crescents, enchiladas?
Clean up kitchen after dinner
Litterbox incl add litter
