Here's a list of things that need to be done more regularly but I procrastinate because I don't like doing them. As opposed to all the other things I procrastinate on for other reasons!
Cleaning the tub - hate having to get into it, hate how I have to bend my wrist, hate the smell of the cleaner
Vacuuming the office floor - hate dragging the vacuum down here, hate noticing how junky it is and what kind of crap I have to move to get the vacuum back behind things, hate seeing all the dead bugs which are everywhere, no matter how regularly I vacuum due to, I guess, the pesticide shield between this level and the lower basement where the centipedes originate
Hanging the kids' shirts - aggraves the arthritis in my shoulders to reach above my head
Sorting out the socks and whites - do I need to explain this one???
Mopping the kitchen and dining room - why do I hate this one? It's not hard or a pain. I think just because a) it gets messed right back up and b) hairs and stuff get caught in the mop letting me know what a crappy job I did sweeping and/or vacuuming.
Dealing with paperwork - laziness is truly the only reason here
Cleaning out the van - because I hate my van I guess
From now on I'm going to try to incorporate one hated job into either my morning or after-dinner routine daily. Starting with the tub which I sprayed before I came down.
