Every Meeting: - Set up - lay out nametags, busy work, check to make sure flag is in room, make sure I have everything including craft supplies and announcements, nametags, pieces of Promise, talking stick, etc
- Busy work while kids are coming in
- Kids salute flag - after 9/15 choose a different kid to lead salute and mark his requirement
- Share time - use talking stick if necessary
- Body of meeting
- Announcements - hand out papers
- Closing - Cub Scout Promise or Law of the Pack - Hand out pieces
9/15 Set up: - Print out busy work
- Take balance beam, mat, tennis balls
- Find out when dues are to be turned in
- Find out popcorn dates
- Get stuff to make nametags incl paper, markers, yarn or safety pins
- Create and print out announcement sheet
- Creat and print out Promise and Law sheets
- Get flag
- Sign up for gym
- Talking stick
- Tell Mike we are doing skit
- Take water bottle, something to spit in
Body of meeting: - Talk about rules
- Talk about flag formation
- Kids make nametags
- Teach kids skit - practice (maybe with adults first)
- Talk about moving your body
- Go to gym - do exercises in book
- Announcements:
- Talk to parents about the requirements in the book - supposed to be done at home but we will be structuring meetings to accomplish most of them - work on family section at home
- Talk to parents about telling me about requirements
- Ask about bobcat
- Ask for woodworking help and supplies incl hammers and safety glasses
- Ask for pack meeting RSVPs
- Remind when dues are due
- Remind about popcorn
- Get email information - pass around signup sheet
- Mention Bon-Ton
